It's just a small step in a much larger plot. They want an excuse for another pariah exile sobstory like Tali's, which they're going to cross on a character who's an ice queen and built like Miranda, but also a gun-toting badass like Ashley, and goes from awkwardness-to-omniscience like Liara, for the ultimate pandering romance option.
Expect to see signs of those next three phases when we get more news tidbits.

In GT6 I've won WEC 24hr race analouges against 1000+ horsepower LMP's with a Prius.
Of course, that's because Gran Turismo's AI pathing is still stuck in 1995. Online more than makes up for it, though.

Most of my GT experience is with GT3. I remember using a Yaris as my go-to rally car and the Miata as my race car of choice, although my favorite car in the whole game was the Camaro Race Car. That thing had terrible handling but was a speed demon and more importantly, it's a Camaro, so it wins on style points alone.
I haven't played GT6, how does it stack up compared to GT5? That was a fun game but things like the AI racer mode took away from the main racing part of it, which was much more fun.

Definitely like the sound of alot of the things the poster claims, and the fact that info regarding DAI was leaked in a similar fashion, and that there's an obvious congruence between the description of ME4 and alot of the features and directions we saw BW implement in DAI, tends to make me think that this information is at least somewhat credible. In any case, this is the first substantive info about the new game that I've read, so its still better than nothing as far as I'm concerned, even if it turns out to be inaccurate.

Camaro is the mullet machine. I like using them as surprisingly effective troll cars
GT6 is basically GT5 with a much better physics engine (every car doesn't feel like an understeering train with a forward weight bias anymore) and more cars/tracks. As for the Singleplayer aspect, well it's much better. They got rid of that annoying B-spec AI manager crap, which I always hated (would just equip my Bob with an overpowered car, start race then switch over to the TV) and actually put some sensible event restrictions in most cases so you can't bring a goddamn F1 car to the Minivan championship or similar like you could in GT5. UI is also improved as is the matchmaking aspect (though that took an update).
Also they are supporting it quite nicely. DLC cars are pretty much all free and we get a nice amount of them. Some bug fixes have taken awhile, but it usually doesn't impact the experience too badly.

Yeah, as of now GT6 is a PS3 game. I don't think they ever plan on porting it to PS4, that's likely going to be GT7. Not that I think that makes it any less good a game. With racing sims, the physics are the most important thing anyway, and in that regard GT6 is pretty much the best racing game there is as far as consoles go. Even Forza 5 isn't quite as good in that department (although it does look beautiful and plays nearly as well, and the car selection has a bit less filler).

No, I just want a good singleplayer game. Mass Effect started out as a singleplayer franchise, that's where the main draw has always been, and that's where resources should be dedicated. There's plenty of good MP-oriented franchises like Battlefield, CoD, WoW, StarCraft and Age of Empires.
There's not many truly great singleplayer series right now. Mass Effect is one of them, so the singleplayer is what I'm focused on. If ME4 has bad singleplayer, the series will die on its ass, unless the multiplayer is something absolutely groundbreaking. Weak multiplayer, on the other hand, won't undermine a pretty good singleplayer experience.

You misunderstand me. I don't think it has to have bad MP in order to have good SP, but if the resources have to favor a facet of the game, then I'll pick SP with Mass Effect. It varies based on the game.
Of those five series, AoE is the only one I like (and I've never played WoW or a non-SW Battlefield), but the others are all "good" in the sense that they've all been runaway successes. Gameplay and balance-wise, I don't think ME3MP is good in the objective sense, but it's good in the sense that it's extremely fun.

After seeing threads in DAI SP like "CASSANDRA IS A MAN~!" and the Cult of Solas I'm actually sort of intrigued about the incoming shitstorm that is ME4SP.
I'll be curious to see if/how much SP impacts MP. Since it seems MP will impact SP again; albeit it didn't much in 3.
