Does this apply to the current DAISP forum as well? Because if so, I've got a lot of work to do.

Breaks the lore; trivializes the Reapers.
You need more magical explanations as to why people can travel such an enormous distance with no ill effects (i.e. fuel concerns). Old alien civilizations are lazy. It needs to stop. Space sci-fi should be about the future, not the past. The Reapers were the past. Now the past is gone.
Do you have any idea how much space is in between galaxies? How did we get there? The Mass Relay network doesn't go there, and that's the fastest form of travel in the galaxy as of ME3. If the relays DO go there, that's a serious retcon, as there is absolutely ZERO evidence of that in the first 3 games. And in fact, if the relays do go to another galaxy, and the Reapers built the relays, there should be Reapers in the other galaxy.
It's basically a gigantic cop-out. Though ME3 was so screwed up a fresh start may very well be the only thing that can salvage the franchise.
Who knows? Maybe the existance of Reapers in the other galaxy will be the new game's "Big Surprise" that will be sure to earn 10/10 5-star ratings on the box printed before the game's release.

Seriously, if the game is fun, and it has a compelling story, I don't care. Since it's science-fiction, I'm pretty sure the writers can come up with an explanation for the sudden change in setting.
Good writing can fix all these problems, the problem is I don't trust Mac Walters with the writing hence the horrible way the series writing declined over the series when he took on more of the responsibilities. You could make it work, and I am open to the idea, and not just shunning it before I even get to see how they would handle it, I will hold off on the hate or FREAK out before I actually see what they did.

Just because some of the lore got broken doesn't mean it should all be thrown away. They need to circle the wagons on what's left, retcon the garbage, and put the good parts up on a pedestal. And I don't trust Walters either. It's a shame what happened with ME3, although with them bringing back John Dombrow as one of the lead writers, I suspect that the higher-ups also distrust Walters and are throwing in some checks and balances to ensure he doesn't ruin the story.
Soes I was going to post how in the first 8 seasons of Stargate we had, the Stargate.
Then when they turned it into Fargate we got a Supergate.
I expect something similar in the ME Relay system to give the intergalactic propensity vivaciousness.
