Leave ME2 alone
This.
Best of the three games IMO.
Don't get me started BSN so help me god I don't want to write a 1000 word shitpost on which video game is the best video game
ME2 is the best of the three games IMO.
Agreed.
So, if this is legit, then new story happens in another galaxy. Galaxy that also has this mysterious Remnant race, that sounds awfully lot as a Protheans were described in ME1. I wouldn't be surprised if these Remnants would actually end up being Protheans or some races that left from original ME galaxy sometime during Prothean times.
This kind of description also feels awfully lot like Reapers were involved in this new galaxy too. However, now that Reapers were more or less removed original ME storyline, it's possible that there is no more galaxy wide wipeout plot in this new trilogy. On the other hand, this " you are drawn into a violent race to find the source of their forgotten technology that will determine the fate of humanity" basically feels like we will get another version of Reapers in this new galaxy.
If that happens....well let's hope they have learned something form ME3 endings.
And based on further description of "savagery of untamed lands in the form of cut-throat outlaws and warring alien races" this makes me believe that there will be some new races of course, but it's likely that we will get most of old races back too.....they are just other explorer or their descendants, who had moved in that galaxy for some reason.
In any case, this information does look promising.
Youre the dude who stole smeckies avatar!!!
For me it was the weakest link and a setup for a rushed finale in 3. Don't get me started.

I agree with you, the guy that likes ME1 over the other two clearly works as an accountant or inventory clerk. Or maybe an elevator operator.
But that doesn't lessen the desire to egg you on for a 1000 word "shitpost". ![]()
Well, I think krogan was mentioned...
...and darn, was hoping to play asari...
I think getting rid of Male Shepard and his timeline is the worst thing ever. But what else can you do when you messed things up so bad with ME3's ending. Start over, of course. And they better not make the same mistake again.
That and they better make sure the next male hero is just as good as Male Shepard. "This is Commander Shepard, and this is my favourite spot on the Citadel, saying goodnight. And I will miss you all. Especially with how lame my ending was handled."
For once I agree with you. It sounds like a completely stupid thing to do, to get rid of the lore and repercussions that you spent numerous years building as a company. But this is EA so I can completely believe they will **** on the title then buy up something else to **** up.

Sad but true...
The next Mass Effect game will be written primarily for tablets coz that's wot all teh kewl kids play on these days innit!
Strike Team missions take many forms, including settlement defense and Remnant artifact recovery, which will take real-time to complete
So that's a bog-standard log-in every X hours to click something and get your Space Bucks which you'll need for everything from new tech and weapons to custom outfits and Mako paint jobs - you will, of course, be able to buy Space Bucks with real money.
The next Mass Effect game will, I fear, be SimCity Societies in space :|

ME3 MP takes real time to complete. The fact that they feel the need to specifically state this makes it sound like a mobile game.
You misunderstand me. I don't think it has to have bad MP in order to have good SP, but if the resources have to favor a facet of the game, then I'll pick SP with Mass Effect. It varies based on the game.
Also, sadly, SP is also the only mode we can return to forever. As MP mode games eventually go offline forever. Wish this issue got fixed with MP games. In the case of ME3mp, I wished that there was an option for when the servers went down, that we could still at least do solo's, then eventually fans finding way to make it multiplayer again if demand for it is still that high.
At least BioWare found a way to make Collectors playable in SP mode via that Citadel DLC, but do bad they just also couldn't of attached MP to be accessed via that Citadel DLC too. Maybe that's what they were going for before budget and time said know and we instead ended up with something then nothing... anyone know is that section of the CItadel DLC is any good at all compared to MP? I haven't explored that section enough during my first playthrough of it, and the second playthrough I never made it that far.
I also really enjoy the atmosphere and lore of SP ME games. So it's still really nice to be able to come back too every now and then for some awesome nostalgia on top of it too. Just that MP has way more replay value, and from a pure gameplay perspective too. Hope they make SP to be closer to MP in pure gameplay content. Because I have way more hours in MP based on just gameplay alone. (PS. Difficulty is one main culprit. SP in not a challenge anymore after MP. They should of added a new difficulty setting at least as basic as Skyrim eventually got instead of nothing)

The Armax Arena is fun. You can bring two characters with you, just one, or none at all. And fighting the Shepard clone spam is always somewhat challenging due to the extremely small margin for error. Citadel is a good DLC all-around, even in terms of gameplay.
MP support is a real problem and it's one of the things that keeps me away from MP for many games. Once support slows down, the prevalence of cheaters and such becomes gradually worse, until they dominate the in-game community. This was starting to happen to Age of Empires III, which was one of the many reasons I left that game altogether.
A new difficulty setting would be alright purely for the challenge, but I think game developers need to get away from how difficulty settings currently are used and move towards adding more enemies to dungeons/maps/missions as well as improving the AI. Skyrim's higher difficulties can make the game more challenging, but it's ultimately fake difficulty which breaks the game mechanics. Great, now my sword that did 28 damage now does 7 damage, and that guy with the longbow with iron arrows that did 15 damage now does 45 damage thanks to the bonus damage perk the AI gets and with the current difficulty, is tweaked to do 180 damage on-hit, which means I have to play hit and run with my sword and hit this guy wearing a fur kilt and nothing else 20 times before he dies. Meanwhile in my Ebony armor, he shoots me three times and I die.
...that is so broken. I mean, I loosely agree with people who say that's more challenging, but you shouldn't have to push the boundaries of plausibility and destroy gameplay balance for the game to be more difficult. That's why I got on PC and started modding. Now I have something that's simultaneously far more balanced and much more challenging.
Anyway, back to Mass Effect. Hopefully in the next MEMP, we see bigger maps with bigger spawn budgets and bigger numbers of enemies active at once. We won't need sync kills, staggerlock from across the map or enemies with level 50 versions of weapons when they can drop squishy kits with concentrated fire and constantly work to box in the players instead of all fighting like berserkers. That'll be much more challenging (no more going Rambo with your Reegar AIU because repair matrix doesn't help when five Marauders are standing on top of you) but since enemy levels will be fair, it will also be more balanced.
...Meanwhile in my Ebony armor...

Dragon bone armor or get out. ^^
Daedric armor or get out. ^^
FTFY.
All Daedric everything.

I use it for style points. Ebony has always been the coolest-looking armor in TES, bar none.
Plus it's a Dunmer thing. You wouldn't understand, n'wah.

F*** Daedric, Go GLASS!
*Runs around in full glass armor with max spell efficiency and a pair of health drain and chaos enchanted ebony swords for full baddassery.... As an altmer vampire.. all at night.

I'm using a mod to make dragon bone look stylish and less barbarian. Also, my main character is mostly a mage, so I'm using modded robes for her. She looks like a black mage/assassin. ![]()

For heavy armor, I must admit ebony has a very powerful presence to it... I myself prefer to look at myself in ebony than in daedric

Dragonbone works for Nords, but it's stylistically super-Nordic, so it doesn't fit too well for anyone else. Ebony on the other hand, I like because it's a lot more culturally neutral. It's perfectly symmetrical too, unlike Daedric (that's my gripe about Daedric armor--I think the version in Oblivion was much, much better-looking than the one in Skyrim, low-res textures aside).

Just told you my version looks different. ![]()

I'm just commenting on Dragonbone in general.
I don't know what your version looks like, because with mods, nobody's game looks the same. Trying to comprehend those variations is an exercise in futility. ![]()
