Pff - maybe they'll pull off a nice SP - living up to the MEMP is going to be tough. I also expect cross-platform shenanigans from publishing and marketing.

I use it for style points. Ebony has always been the coolest-looking armor in TES, bar none.

Plus it's a Dunmer thing. You wouldn't understand, n'wah.

All this talk is going to send me back to Skyrim. I loved it, but never quite finished cos of ME3.

I agree with you, the guy that likes ME1 over the other two clearly works as an accountant or inventory clerk. Or maybe an elevator operator.

But that doesn't lessen the desire to egg you on for a 1000 word "shitpost". :D

Hey now, I have an Accounting degree and still prefer ME2 and ME3 over ME1.

Go for it! I don't know what platform you have it for, but if you're on PC, do make sure to get the Unofficial patches. They clear up a great many of the old issues that plagued the game even after the final patch.

It's a shame that no Mass Effect modders have collaborated for something similar. Fixes for Aria's magic speech and clipping issues with clothes and armor would be wonderful.

Alas, it was the 360. No mods that I'm aware of.

Probably gonna have the same netcode problems as DAI MP (oh and dumb a.i.), I just wish at least the gameplay will be fun.

Is the same DA:IMP netcode good ir bad? (Never played it). I can't imagine it being worse than what we have right now for ME3.

That's a shame. If you have a PC that can run it, try to get it on a Steam sale. I'm not trying to go PCMustardRace on you but Skyrim benefits more by being on PC than most multiplatform games do. The Unofficial patches should've been looked at by Bethesda and released on the consoles.

All I've got is a surface pro 3 now. Don't think that's good enough.

Might be good enough to run Arena and Daggerfall. They're both TES games.

What's wrong with them? They're perfectly fine games if you can handle the insane control schemes. I swear they'd be easier if I flipped my keyboard upside down; alas, I don't have a wireless keyboard so it's not very practical. :P

Go over to youtube, plenty of videos of people running skyrim on the sp3. The laptop I'm playing ME3MP on has the same cpu and graphics as the SP2.

Huh. That's interesting. I guess it's a side-effect of me playing with graphics-intensive mods like Flora Overhaul, 2k textures, SMIM and ENB. I've kind of forgotten what the vanilla experience is like. Maybe I'll load it up on my PS3 and run around an ugly brown Whiterun Hold for old times' sake. :P

Probably wouldn't have any problems running Oblivion or Morrowind in that case, too.

Worse.

How is that even possible? Invisible turrets, primes or even entire geth faction going invisible for no reason whatsoever say otherwise (is that even related to netcode, though?  ).

Easy - at times you'll simply find no lobby because of disconnects or landing solo in your own lobby.despite looking for another to host.

From what I've heard, moving around is like a slideshow.  At least they removed the player collision bumper-car effect, that combined with the lag made it literally impossible to move at times.

Given that the same team that worked on ME3mp is working on ME4mp/sp, we can only expect a better product. DAMP was done by the folks in Edmonton. I will never touch another Bioware game again if they f*ck up ME4MP.

I could've sworn I heard that the same team worked on DAIMP. I could be wrong though.

The probability of that "if" coming to pass are currently at 97% and rising.

Definitely had worse experiences with DA:I than ME3 when it comes to netcode.

ME3 = average experience is half-second or so delay on powers etc when offhost

DA:I = average experience is rubber banding through the map, then dropping dead

Not sure how Bioware screwed the pooch on that, but they definitely did.
