My usual account is http://forum.bioware...-yanagi-uxinta/, yet when I went to log in today after a time away from the forum, I got a new page after entering my password saying that since this was my first time logging in, I needed to make a username. I hit back and tried a different password, only to get the 'incorrect password' notification. 

 

I did a search for my original username, wondering if my account had somehow been deleted, and it wouldn't come up in the search, yet I was able to find my old posts in the threads I had posted in. Eventually I had to 'sign in' with a new username/in order to post here, but I would like access to my old one. Since I could 'sign in', I assume my log-in details were correct, but it recognised me as a new member instead of a returning one?

 

In March I swapped the emails on my two origin accounts, since my main origin account was not linked to my main email. This was the 26th March, yet my last sign in date on my original Forum account was 9th April so I don't know if that would have anything to do with it or not. I thought I'd mention it anyway just in case.

 

Can anyone help?

Hate to bump this, but I would like my old account back. Does anyone have any suggestions?

yeah , you can look at mod list and contact one directly .

Are you able to log into both accounts still? If so, send me a message from both accounts and I can merge the posts and such into whichever one you plan on using going forward.

Hi Jesse, thanks for helping with this. Unfortunately I can't log in to my old account - I haven't been able to since I first created this thread, as it prompted me to make a new account upon my attempt to sign into my old one. I use the same email address for the two accounts, if that makes any difference.

 

The only posts I've made on this account are in this thread, so I'm not too concerned about keeping anything from this account. However if getting access to my old account isn't possible, would you be able to merge the posts from that account into this one? I can't send you a message from my old account, but the link to my old profile page is in my OP, if that helps.

Send me a message with your current account and I can dig into it more. Merging accounts, ie posts, on the forum is the most I can do but I might be able to point you in the right direction for fixing the bigger problem.

I'm curious if you ever got this resolved; I'm having the same problem. Can't even seem to reset my password on that account using its email (no email ever arrives, but no reported errors) or its user ID ("invalid email or id", even though the ID still exists in search).
