First, I do not see the awesome search feature advertised in the "How to post" thread. Are you referring to google?

Issue: After the intro scene, seeing the Normandy blasted, saving Joker and Ashely, then watching the surgery scene, the game continues to CTD with the infamous "ME2 has stopped working" message. This has happened 7 times now, regardless if I import saved games from ME1 or start new game.

ME2 CEDVD for PC, purchased from Amazon

Processor: Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU     T5550  @ 1.83GHz
Clock speed: 1826 MHz
Physical Memory:  1.99 GB

Display Adaptor: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600
VRAM: 256 MB
Version:7.14.10.555

Sound adaptor: 
Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)
version 6.0.1.5548

OS: Vista Sp2
Directx 10.0

The issue persists if video settings are tuned way down or tuned up, with sound enabled and disabled. Please advise.

got the same problem the game crash at the same location as yours Jayius

Ok, a fresh reinstall has it working. My saved game was nuked, however. GRRR.

I have the same issue. Did it work for you? Ugh, reinstall time I guess.

reinstalling didn't do the trick for me

did u do anything else other that reinstalling the game

cause we have the same problem
