Indeed, there are multiple ways To Have both the quarians and the geth in Andromeda. I just think there's the possibility They decided to not include one or both.

And if they don't, it just furthers my point of our choices not mattering and the likelihood of me not getting this game.

That's what I'm thinking as well.   I know the devs showed off some Krogan concept art for the upcoming ME game, so it seems safe to assume that they are in.  The Asari seems likely, but I could take or leave them.  I like Liara as a character, but her race...yeah, I think I'm good on the Asari as a whole.   That being said, there is a good chance we'll see Liara again, as well as a son of Wrex.  Wrex himself was a very old krogan during the ME series, so I can't see him still be around a few hundred years later.   Those are my guesses at the moment.

Can't be a son of Wrex. That takes both him being alive choice into count and has to take place after the endings, thus needing to reference them.

Actually that makes me think: if we go with my previous idea of exiled Quarians being on the Ark, those Quarians are usually social outcasts or deviants. Maybe in this new galaxy they might decide to recreate the geth or a new artificial intelligence, maybe that kind of thinking is what got them exiled.

Oh, that's a good one.  Say, aren't you one of the original authors of the Ark Theory?   :)

It could be a son of Wrex depending upon the player's world state, which I think the next ME game will likely have.  If Wreave was alive, then it could be a child of Wreave.  If neither apply, then it could be the child of a krogan that used to be in Urdnot pre-ME1.  Even if the genophage wasn't cured, it would take a long time for the krogan to die out.  They still could be hanging on in pockets around the known galaxy, with one of them wishing to join us.

Admiral Zen wanted to recreate and/or retake control of the Geth, and she wasn't exiled.

Having some connections To the old characters would be nice. T
Technically we could see Grunt as well.

I think it'd be possible.

I think the idea was that some of those exiles were caught actually making brand new AI, rather than trying to retake control of the geth.  Xen wanted to dominate and control her enemy, not create new kinds of AI.

Edit: I doubt we'll see Grunt.  Unlike Liara, he can die and/or not be fully recruited.  That's why Liara seems the most likely squad mate to make an appearance, but I don't think we'll have her in the party.

Though if They put both races Regardless of our choices, that would make them pointless as well.

I rather puzzled as to why people want the choices they made in an ending they hate matter.

Where would this child be? Wrex was exiled up until he went back to Tuchanka a year ago, so at best they are an infant at the end of ME3 which means they would have to account the original trilogy since the child grew up in the Post-Reaper War Milky Way. And if they leave before the war, the child doesn't exist. Besides, they wouldn't have a character depend on being the child of a character who may or may not be alive.

So it'd have to be a Krogan with no connection to them.

Though if They put both races Regardless of our choices, that would make them pointless as well.

They would already be doing that by having one or none in too. If one can be excused as being a remnant of the race, the other can be as well.

Yeah I spilled quite a bit of ink (Figuratively speaking) elaborating on how it could be done and why to do it back in its original thread.

I think the idea was that some of those exiles were caught actually making brand new AI, rather than trying to retake control of the geth.  Xen wanted to dominate and control her enemy, not create new kinds of AI.

Exactly, Xen was more interested in reenslaving the Geth. These hypothetical exiles would interested in pursuing artificial intelligence research, and exiled for endangering the fleet with their work or some such.

Not necessarily.  There was plenty of races that didn't have every single member involved with the war, and I can imagine that would include the krogan.  Also, much of what was involved was actually considered classified.  So they might not know what exactly happened, other than a weapon was built and the Reapers were defeated.  My other idea is that a krogan could have been in his 50s when things went down.  So not during infancy, but during childhood, the equivalent of 5 or 6 years old.  Krogan children were still being born while the genophage was going and remember, even Mordin said that if they didn't spend as much time fighting their population would be growing.

They would not have had to been born in a post ME3 world at all.   A child might not be able to remember all the details, but even during younger childhood they would likely know what his father's clan was prior to the war.  There's a connection that can be found there, and I'm personally not ready to dismiss it just yet.   ;)

I liked the endings too, at least the EC ones I played.   :)

I don't want to see T'soni again

It would be hard for Wrex to have a son if he wasn't recruited in ME1, shot by me/Ashley on Virmire or I killed him on the Citadel in ME3

I expanded on some of my ideas above after Hana pointed that out.   ;)

I know a lot of folks that would be happy to never see Liara again.  That being said, I wouldn't be surprised by a brief on-screen appearance.  BioWare does love their returning characters.  I know that while I do like her, I'm good with her being my squadmate.  I'd like to see some more diversity in the biotics other than the occasional krogan.  The asari needs to go work on rebuilding (which could take centuries,) and I would prefer not to have a member of that race in my party for the next game.

I wouldn't mind seeing a child from Wreav. I like him better than Wrex. But I would rather have someone that is not related to any of the characters from the trilogy

I'm okay either way, I'm just going by BioWare's track record.  They do seem to enjoy having at least one returning character in their longer running franchises.  So there is a chance at least one of the more major NPCs or companions will be a call back to the original trilogy. If they have a connection to the previous games like the ones I mentioned, awesome.  If not, I look forward to meeting new characters.   :)

But the Krogan would know if the Reapers died or not, or if they had circuits on their skin.

I said that a Krogan could work, just that they wouldn't be the child of Krogan we know. Personally I'd prefer a female Krogan Battlemaidan as our Krogan companion, but the leak says we have another male Krogan.

Like I said earlier, BioWare is trying to have their cake and eat it too when it comes to the endings.  I'm just spouting some theories.

I would have preferred a female krogan as well, but a few things get in the way:

1) Whether or not the genophage is cured, krogan females are protected heavily.

2) If the genophage is cured, many of them are going to be busy running things on Tunchunka and possibly other worlds.

3) The only concept art that's been shown of the krogan has been male.

4) With this rumored leak backing this up.

Not after DA:I, but it isn't because I dislike the game.  I love the game, but I feel I should have waited for some of the patches to come out first.

I might be the only one that didn't run into a lot of bugs for DAI. I saw a few, but they didn't interfere with the gameplay. This is on the ps3.

I'm applying a 'wait and see' approach for MENext anyway, after ME3. I didn't hate it (and the Genophage arc it's easily one of the top moments in the trilogy for me), but I Had Many issues With it, not related to the endings.

I might be the only one that didn't run into a lot of bugs for DAI. I saw a few, but they didn't interfere with the gameplay. This is on the ps3.

PC version: Unstable framerates, with jittering during cut scenes, regardless of graphic settings, video card or other hardware or software.   No error crashes to desktop if I play for more than an hour.  Getting stuck in the geometry and needing to switch characters to get out.  Some bugged out quests.  A few other minor problems, none of which did much to dampen my enjoyment of the game.

Also, and I'm not blaming BioWare for this at all, but I do enjoy mods and the modders are trying to keep up with the patches.  Since the game is still being rapidly patched, my mods end up broken more often than not.  Again, it isn't me trying to complain too hard, or trying to rail at BioWare for trying to fix the game.  Nor am I trying to come down on the modders for needing to work on their mods after patches.  Them's the breaks, and I know modding is a privilege.  It just diminished a little bit of my enjoyment is all.   For now, I'm holding off on buying and playing the DLC until after patch 7 comes out.  They will be getting my money, just a little later rather than sooner.   ;)

So it probably would have served me better on the PC if I had waited a month or two.  I would have ended up buying it, but I probably would have waited until March or so to do it.  For what it's worth, I'm glad your experience was smooth.   :D
