[Silver Souls]

I personally would play as a turian I remember the first time I saw Garrus in ME2 (I played that game before me1) and I was just awestruck with him so damn cool ever since then, Turians have been my favorite race in the series (asari is my second favorite) so I would love to play as one of them

Female Turian by a long shot.  Although I would be happy with almost any of the races outside of human.  I really enjoy role playing my characters as I play.  I find humans to be the least interesting thing to play in most games. Especially one with such interesting alien races.

If human never existed, I would want to play as a... Heck I don't know. How about the Insuannon? They look like they would have a good basketball team at how tall looking they are. Yeah I know they're not around anymore, but who knows. Bioware can make anything happen in their games

 I would love to be able to play as anAsari, Geth, Quarian, or Turian. There are other races I think would be interesting to play as as well. 

 

I was just going to say Asari but then you bring up the Geth. Now I'm not so certain. I would either want a young Asari that hasn't learned what it's like to outlive several of her friends from the shorter lived species yet but is about to begin to. Such as perhaps she's been friends with a Selarian for a while now. It'd be fun having her struggle with their short life spans and wonder if becoming friends with such short lived beings is worth the trouble.

 

Or a Geth. With the Geth there is not only the issue of being effectively immortal but there is the issue of perhaps changing your external appearance to better facilitate communication. It's probably harder to communicate with people when you look like a massive killing machine. Well unless your goal is to intimidate.

Probably asari, since their biotic ability is impressive (also, blue/purple people!). Also quarians, presumably more engineer/infiltrator types (do they have quarian biotics?). And lastly, a female turian.
