Would really like to play as most of the other races as well - quarian, asari, krogan - but if there's one race I really want to play as, it's turian.

Rachni would make for an interesting skill tree.

Acidic Spit - evolves to Heavy Acidic Spit or Area Acidic Spit versions.
Extra Tank - allows you to carry additional Spit ammo.
Inferno Spit
Cryo Spit

I'd probably stick to humans as well.

But if I had to, probably a turian or a drell (which admittedly are probably the two species that come closest to humans anyway).

 

...Or maybe a volus with a jetpack.

Male/Quarian/Sentinel - Would be fantastic to play as a Quarian. they're armor/enviroment suits are amazingly cool. easy character creation (What color do you want your visor to be?) and thus I won`t get 1/2 through the game and decide my mouth is too high or something. It would have an... "interesting" effect on romances. it would make an interesting roleplay being unable to interract with the worlds you discover or your sweetheart and constantly being at risk of infection while while trying to hold your crew together and doing your mission. That or a Turian infiltrator named Archangel =)

These would be my choices as well. The Salarian would make for a more realistic possibility in terms of possibly playing as one for the SP campaign, but if we are talking about our fantasy racial option, I would go Rachni all the way.

 

 

 

It would be like playing as the Alien in Alien vs Predator, and the campaign could be a mix of Action-RPG and RTS as the player controls a young queen as she establishes colonies and interacts with the other races of the galaxy. 

 

The campaign would essentially be a 3rd person Action RPG version of this:

On a serious note, the Rachni need to make it into MP. Expand on the foundation of ME 3's MP and give us a completely unique playable kit to skitter around as.
