I never said it has to be. I said it should be. Big difference.
Not that big of a difference
Sounds better than the leaked game.
Now you just sound bitter

It's actually not a bad idea, if it was like Foundation.
I'd get more Jack at least. She manages to be one of the only characters Leng doesn't totally punk out. ![]()

Not having new Kai Leng content ever would be too soon.

Any credibility Kai Leng had died before ME3 in Deception
If he was a badass Winter Soldier-like character in ME3 I'd be all for a Leng spin-off

A pretty big difference. Like respecting your customers by not lying to their face about how choices matter.
And no, playing as Kai Leng sounds genuinely better than this leaked game. At least the Kai Leng game would still be a Mass Effect game rather than a "Mass Effect" game.

In the trilogy, not every single game

So they respect your choices, then give you the finger when you're done. Yeah, so respectful.
If they aren't going to import choices, they may as well remove them entirely. Or at least stop selling us the nonsense like your choices matter.

I think it'd be fun playing the other characters..not leng himself (you'd also have Rasa as a villlain..at least until the end)....but nothing anything I'd take seriously. Just a spinoff. It'd be a fun exercise in unique level designs and multiple classes.

I can somehow envision a clunky and barely holding-together ME4 that takes Trilogy choices into account and at least attempts to do more than just putting a different green texture in Synthesis. But ME6 STILL carrying choices from ME3? Pretty much impossible on the developement scale and number of varying content that would have to be produced for diverging choices from ME1, ME2, ME3, ME4 and ME5.

Refuse ending alone makes anything happen in the Milky Way impossible.

Putting Refuse in the EC was a mistake to begin with.

If you have nothing to contribute, don't reply.

Refuse is about as valid as DeadShep in ME2 anyway.
That was Shepard's other clone ![]()

By the time ME6 happens, only the big choices would remain and even some of them can be homogenized a bit so that it works either way but still differs from how it happened.
When did they indicate that your choices would matter in Not Mass Effect 4, though?
I have plenty of issues with running off to Andromeda, but I don't believe that BioWare would be giving players the finger by doing so. The choices you made in the Milky Way would still be quite valid and in practice there, and you're free to relive them over and over in different permutations.
Remember to keep your save files.

I remember when he said that.
Whatever they had in mind there seems to be done with.

Let's be honest, if there was the "middle finger" ending, it was that one. "Fine, you win, but everybody's dead ha!" ![]()

And that wouldn't make you angry? That's rather disrespecting to the choice if your Destroy ending gets railroaded together with Synthesis

Hardly.

Not just that, but.. "everybody's dead... but someone builds the crucible later anyways." ![]()

Hardly.
It doesn't even trigger the final achievement, and you get everyone killed. Chalk that up to a non-transferable world state.
Techincally none of them are transferable at the moment

"It wouldn't be a bad idea" is all Gamble said about them, which could have simply meant for DLC (or, as I've speculated, because the EC was planned all along).
It seems like an afterthought to me. I still use it, but much prefer the flow of the original. And it's all "show, don't tell", which is my preference.
