I'll state at the outset, I am hopelessly incompetent at meshing and modding, the limit of my abilities is using the Coalesced editor or Gibbed's save editor. So i don't know if this is even possible.

So I was curious as to whether it's possible to improves Femshep's "physique" in game? In all honestly Femshep looks like she would have difficulty lifting her arm with only the Omni-Tool turned on, let alone lift an Assault Rifle (and something like the Cain? Pfft! forget it) And wearing amour would have her crawling around on the floor.

I know there is a mod on the Nexus that attempts to address this issue, but I don't think it went quite far enough, and it also changes the meshes for all female characters in game. Traynor is okay with a slim build, but Femshep really needs to work out more.

I don't think Femshep need look like James Vega, but she should at least look like an adult soldier and not a skinny teenager.

Avpen has recently added some mods, that (if a may dare say) Read my mind, not only in their content, but in the fact that they are essentially User DLC's, that just drop in with no "file fiddling" required. Truly amazing stuff!

The Buff mod on Nexus that you're aware of is the only one there is. FemShep uses the same body model as all females in the game. Changing one means changing them all.

actually i have seen .MOD mesh replacers that only affect certian .PCC files. like the Ashley legacy mod for example. so it may actually be possible. i'll have a look into it.

Are clothing/armor meshes in Mass Effect all in one? As in, the Armour or Outfit is actually the whole mesh, so you'd have to make a separate mod for each and every "outfit" in game? Or are they like Skyrim for instance which uses a standard whole body mesh, and the outfits then fit on top?

At the very least some of the "standard" Casual outfits like the Alliance Blues, Science/Tech Outfit and Alliance Dress Uniform would be at least a start. Even Ash seems more "buff" than Femshep.

Whenever I see Femshep in a casual outfit, I feel like quoting the Senator from Captain America ... " Someone get that girl a sandwich"

Any outfit includes the body so any NPC using an outfit, uses the same body. This means you can only create unique bodytypes for characters with unique outfits (like certain squadmates). Femshep shares most her outfits bar the fourth casual (intro outfit) and the hoody so you're basically sh*t out of luck in therms of isolating mesh changes to just her body if you're looking to do it across the board over all her outfits like the buff femshep mod on Nexus does.

Oh, that's a shame :(

As I said, the "scrawny" body is probably okay for someone like Traynor and most of the "civilian" and non-combat NPC's, but I really hoped Femshep could at least partially look like she could actually bear the weight of a Cain, and have melee fights with Varren (or Vega)

Maybe I'll just have to do a quick coalesced edit, and give Femshep an Armor for a casual outfit, so I don't have to look at those spaghetti thin spindly arms. Seriously, she looks like she'd be more fragile than Joker.

Thankyou very much for taking the time to clarify this for me :)

So dissapointed in the meager Femshep constitution (rawboned arms) she does not look not even like a normal woman.  This is supose to be the epitomy of a soldier Bioware, this is suposedely humanity's only hope; have you developers been bystanders? My bad, Bioware has not played the game folks!
