This. With low level weapons, you will have a lot more fun with a melee build.
These days, we first have to verify that the OP doesn't spec out of melee on the grounds that it's useless.

I wasn't being (particularly) critical of the non-melee suggestions, just surprised. If I was going to skip a Krogan's melee options I might think about doing it on the Adept. But only for a minute or two.
Am I also to assume that your standard Krogan Sentinel isn't specced for melee? Inconceivable!!! Heresy!!!!! PYJACKERY!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously though, I'm all for variety, but I can't pass up the fact that the Krogan Soldier deals more melee damage than any of the others, if specced and played right, and the fact that it's a little riskier doing so makes it all the more satisfying.
The soldier does more melee than the Krolord? Or just the other basic Krogans?
Krogan Soldier is the Melee King. Max basic heavy melee damage for the Krolord is 4531, while the Soldier can manage 5329. Obviously many of your melee attacks with the Krolord will include the additional power from the Hammer, but to get the max power from a Hammer Charge you have to reduce the melee boost, so there's a little compromise required.
I find the Krolord playstyle to be among the most repetitive and boring in the whole game - it really doesn't require any skill at all. And in all honesty you're not choosing to play him as a melee character - you have absolutely no choice. It's all he can do, pretty much. And he's just so slow. The Vanguard is faster but similar, and the fact that both the Soldier and original Sentinel both include melee boosts among their other powers should probably be taken as a clue that that's where their true power lies.

I totally agree with you. Its actually one of the least accurate depiction of ME3 lore in the game. It's more of a Dragon Age character using a ME3 race. I mean come on, a hammer? Might as well give him a battle axe.

I have never seen a 6/5/5/5/5 build in my life.
I would do this: http://kalence.drupa...33O53313!AFFB3G
Your cooldowns right now are god awful! I know it doesn't matter for 2 of your skills, but Carnage is very useful.
