I was wondering if anyone has replayed the game and can tell me if you lost your first game?  I plan on replaying the game after i have finished origins and DA:2, but i am afraid I will loose my female elven inquisitor as I really like her and still have some small quests left to play to be 100% finished. I know you can have more than one save file on the game, but from my experience it´s just when you save during playing, not with two different characters(?) so my question is:

Is it safe to press "new game" or will i loose everything from my first play?

I think you must be playing on a console.... no such problem on a PC.  I've created over four characters and played with three of them... they are all still available to be.

The only thing I need to do is to "switch" to another character in the list.

It isn't a problem on console either... Unless you have an intelligence quotient of less than 60.

You still may need to tweak the keep if you use it

You will not lose your character. Only if you delete her. New Saves adds a new file but nothing is overwritten.

You mean lose, not loose. Please learn a language before using a language. Thank you.

Shut up troll!

This topic reminds me of Dragon's Dogma. In that game you could only have one character per psn account (ps3). Such is not the case in DA:I, as others have already pointed out.

OK. As a Finnish who tries to survive in 3 languages, I shouldn't make a single post. I will, just to spite you.

Indeed (I am learning my second foreign language - Spanish - (if you discount trying to learn French while at school and Latin which no one really speaks anyway...not that I was any good at Latin either!) ATM and I am German, so English is a foreign language for me (my first one!)))

Language flames are LAME anyway -.- (I mean yeah, if someones post isn't in any way understandable then you can flame, but not before -.-)

greetings LAX

Monster20862's response was not the right one either way.
