If you do everything in the Hinterlands, Fallow Mire and the Storm Coast you're looking at hours of gameplay staring at bland armour. I did this recently and was level 13 by the time i got to Val Royeaux just to speak with the Templars. I don't get why something as simple as armour tint (which has no effect on gameplay) is Skyhold only.

It's odd because in Mass Effect 2 you could change the armour colour as soon as you did the intro mission, yet armour tinting in DA:I is set pretty far into the game.

Well in Mass effect you don't start as an agent, you start at the top, so to speak. But other than that lore friendly explanation, it was probably just easier to insert armor tinting for Skyhold only.

I wouldn't think it would be more difficult, just move the bench inside the building next to the crafting section. Also what does colour change have to do with status........nothing.

At low levels you're changing your armour pretty frequently...if you're lucky to find any or schematics that is. I'd think it's pointless until you get to Skyhold and armours last longer otherwise you'd be forever tinting.

I didn't change my armour until i hit level 10, that was only because i was fighting the Frostback dragon. I just think it should be an option for everyone from the start.
