Yeah, but as I said earlier, I think that to have an ideal (as in "canon") play-through, Inquisitor must have a love interest with adjacent story, because it's greatly contributes the overall scenario. I wanted it to be Sera, and now I'm probably can't have anyone because of spoiled relationships. Also, a sex scene contributes to the overall "adultness" of the story, which is one more reason to pursue it.

Umm. She can just be a friend. A good friend who always has your back.

In addition you could go to a tavern and share an ale. Have a good chat.

What's spoiled about that relationship? A good friend who is always there for you?

Why is sex the be all and end all of "adultness" anyway?

Just make sure she doesn't get crushed.

Because... You know what? I'll let Barry explain.

Nope, I don't get how it's relevant to Jill the Left Hand... Sorry :(

Man, check your radar. I know a good technician who can repair it for you :)

Damn, man. Coulda sworn that Turian who calibrated it knew what he was doing.

Yeah. I think I trust him more than you.

To be honest, I thought she was Bisexual. And flirtatious dialogues didn't help either. I just couldn't imagine that Bioware would deny male character her romance option. That's just unreasonable, giving that romance is serious business in Bioware games.

Could you be anymore obvious in your trolling? Learn some technique.

Yeaaaah... not really. What is it with you and sex scenes? Just because two teenagers ( like 16 yo ) can have sex, that doesn't mean they're adults. Is sex really an important aspect of "adultness" for you? I'm confused. Just because you can have romance scene in game that doesn't automatically mean it's mature. For example, Josie's romance doesn't have an actual sex scene, so... don't pursue it. It's not mature enough for you.

But then again, some people are just for " BOOBS! ".

Anyone who thinks that he should be able to turn a lesbian straight with the power of his magical special snowflake genitals probably deserves a kick in the balls.

So good job, Bioware!

That's what I was thinking.

I reckon that Kenneth is the real name of one of the BioWare Forum members using posting on this thread.

Again, I understand the disappointment that the story isn't going to play out like you had hoped. What offends me about it is that you're treating them like props in your ideal story rather than as someone you actually care about.

I mean, I get that it's a game and that someone might come to expect different things from a game than they do from real life. It just disappoints me to hear about a sex scene being the only aspect of the romance in which someone could find any worth.

I can't like this more than once, which is a travesty.

Who's Kenneth?

Engineer Kenneth Donnelly, a character from Mass Effect 2/3 who makes a comment about Samantha Traynor being hot or something and his coworker Gabriella Daniels tells him that he's barking up the wrong tree, since Samantha is lesbian.

I agree. In IRL. But I certainly have the right to play out this fantasy in my head, and in my games. No?

Count how many people you have killed in video games. Does that make you a murderer? No. Same thing here.

Thanks for that clarification.

Because they are. The game is spectacle and they are actors. There was a time when I also considered Rinoa from Final Fantasy VIII almost a real girl, but I grew out of that.

You're welcome. :)

Also, OP: Sera likes only girls, get over it.

Oh joy, this thread again.....   -_-

@OP:

If you want a romance in your canon, why does it have to be an in-game one?  You could easily headcanon your Inquisitor ending up with someone on the side-lines in DA:I, possibly from DA:O, Awakening, or DA2.  Hell, I'm headcanoning that my 2nd fLavellan (5th Inquisitor) ends up with my human-hating Tabris (5th Warden) post-DA:I (both playthroughs were nomances to begin with).  My canon DA:O playthrough (2nd playthrough) was a nomance, as was my 4th DA:O playthrough.  My 2nd DA:I playthrough was originally planned to be a nomance, but I noticed how well my Inquisitor clicked with Cassandra, so I decided to follow through with her.

Headcanon can solve a lot of 'issues' you have with how certain aspects of the games play out.  Why not give it a try?

(to be clear: I'm not saying that you should heacanon that Sera is bi)
