I'm super nervous about posting my art up 'cause I haven't put this much time into drawing anything in years but I felt like drawing again because why not XD Anyway, any feedback would be nice. I need to work on my coloring so I'm just leaving this piece as it is :D May post more stuff in the future. Feedback is encouraged; likes and reblogs are even nicer (if you like) :D

Looks good! I love how you place the position of each character & the hands ;)

For feedback, I just can't see where the light is coming over? You put light shading so I assume you're going to shade this?

Yaaaaaaaay, thank you so much! Hands are hard for me so that's really nice to hear ;~; And this was my first attempt at doing the face at the angle that I did.

I was thinking it could come from above but lighting wasn't something I put a lot of thought into so thanks for bringing it to my attention! Thank you so much for the helpful feedback!

Ooh lighting from above, dramatic lighting or soft?

I was just actually wondering whether you had started to shade yet or not, since often people wait for feedbacks to rework the lines before start shading.

Nah, forget about what I say. I was just wondering whether you intend to make high contrast (strong light, deep shadows) or soft light & shadow ;)

I finished a new piece. I'm really proud of how it turned out 'cause I actually took the time to fill in the details  :D It's another Solavellan DA AU set in Feudal China with young Solas (looks way nicer in hi-resclick here pls).

Edit: The Chinese calligraphy says "wo de xin" which translates to "ma vhenan" in Mandarin  :D
