That doesn't seem like a much of a point though. Plenty of games only have a couple DLCs.

ME1 had Bring Down The Sky(which was good) and Pinnacle Station(that wasn't). But there aren't a ton of games with a million or so DLCs.

I know. I was just being lazy posting the ME1 point in another comment!

Expansions ftw. NWN 1 and 2 expansions, DA:A etc. instead of making goofy of us with all these DLCs.

Funny how devs have different opinions on terminology.

A few Bioware devs in the past said here that they feel the terms "DLC" and "Expansion" are one and the same, encompassing anything from smaller updates to larger add-ons.

Though watching an interview with a CDPR dev, he claimed outright that he feels "DLC" represents the smaller add-ons and "Expansion" represents the far more expansive ones. Which is the opinion I hold and I imagine gamers tend to lean towards.

I want more of the bigger expansions and less of the smaller DLC packs.

How does a game that won dozens of awards, was one of the 2015 games to get go from starting off strong to dropping from 25k players in a single month going to under 1k.

Think about that for a moment. When they opened they had different packages you could buy. They ranged from 60 dollars to 100 dollars. Each package had something different. The graphics are amazing. The game-play is unique. I personally think its failing hard due to the day one DLC. If they had waited two months, then slowly leaked DLC, they would have been fine.

Customers are being nickle and dimed for everything from wanting to change the color of their gear. Everything in game has a price. It was estimated that all the DLC cost well over a hundred dollars. Many items was not included in any of the bundles. They even had a weekend contest to boost numbers for free gear. It didn't even break above 2k players online.

Why do you think this game is failing hard

You had 5 players on a map but only one is really having any fun and victories were lopsided. It just wasn't fun!
