Always a warrior in templar spec.
Was your first class the same as DA:O and DA2?

Lol, that reminds me of all those times I'd accidentally hit a tripwire as a warrior, and Leliana announces it's a trap just before I stumble into it. It's good to be the rogue.
My funniest moment with Leliana yelling "TRAP!" was right at the Zevran ambush. I guess she detected one of the traps set around the area before the actual cutscene took place. Right before the scene where the woman goes up to Zevran and nods, Leliana yelled out "Trap, right ahead!" as if she was figured out it was an actual ambush instead of merely spotting a trap on the ground. The timing was flawless. If it had been my first playthrough, she would have ruined the surprise.

Human female warrior always on the first run.
And human male warrior on my second playthroughs.
All other playthroughs are open to experimentation, but I prefer playing as a warrior.

Archer. 2H-Warrior. 2H-Warrior.
I want to play a mage eventually. For me, personally, I felt I had to play DAI as a class that didn't rely heavily on powers simply because the only way I could play the game was with a controller since I found the pc controls to be dreadful. That servery limited my options in hotkeys. At least for me it did anyway. DA2 I'm not entirely sure I want to play as a mage simply because of the way the story plays out and the type of choices I make. It feels... off. So that leaves me with DAO. Though with all the friendly fire I might find myself limited with how often I can actually rely on magic. Meh. I think it'll be fun one of these days.

Nope. Started as a mage. Chose a rogue in DA2 because I always wanted to play with dual blades. I chose rogue again in Inquisition but it sucked and played again as a mage. I then played a two-handed warrior, because I grew sick of having only Iron Bull as my two-hand with no one else to share the powerful swords I was picking up. Cassandra and Blackwall play much better with a sword and shield.

DAO: Warrior (Dual wielding)
DA2: Warrior (Two handed)
DAI: Mage... Mages makes things go boom XD

I didn't play DA2, but in both Origins and Inquisition, my first and likely only characters are sword & board warriors (I'm not big on replaying games, for various reasons). Being a true frontline leader, the first in and the last out, the sword and shield for her friends, the one who draws the line in the sand and yells "You! Shall not! Pass!" is right up my alley both gameplay-wise and for the roleplay element -- nobody else gets hit if I can help it, and outright letting someone else take the hits while I hide in the back feels just plain wrong. Tanking in this game isn't satisfying mechanically, but then the combat in this game isn't satifying, period, so eh.

Only ever played mage. Tanky melee spellcaster is always my go-to in games.

DA2: Mage
Inquisition: Mage

No, first one in DAO was two-hand warrior, first one in DA2 was archer rogue and first one in DAI was Knight-Enchanter mage. So all different though I didn't even plan it out ![]()

I played as a mage in DA:O and had so much fun I decided to continue that in DA2, but I was a little disappointed how much the class had changed. Well, I played a mage again in DA:I and liked it enough, but my favorite mage is still the DA:O class. Such a wide range of powers.

In Origins, I had double-sword warrior, in DA2 mage and in Inquisition sword-shield warrior. So not really. I prefer to try different things anyway (which is reason I started DAI with sword-and-shield warrior even though it's not really my favourite type; luckily I have truly enjoyed playing that class
)

This is just a fun little question but was your first class you played as the first class you picked in DA:O and DA2? like for example in DAO my first time I was a Shield Warrior , in DA2 my first time I was a Shield Warrior and in DAI I'm planning on being....you guessed it a Shield Warrior lol
Same, I start most of these kinds of games as a shield warrior and then change things up on subsequent playthroughs (replayed DAO and DA2 as a mage, replaying DAI atm as a DW rogue).

DAO: Male / Warrior (two handed). Because of Morrigan.
DA2: Female / Mage. Because of Isabella and awsome armor.
DAI: Female / Mage Because of Cullen.
