Since last origin update.
To be accurate, it crashed during the first "bioware" animation, before typing any key.

Seems i m the only one, so i guess it s on my side. Wasnt willing to play for few weeks, but now ...
Just made a fresh install, even reset coalesced.bin.

At one point i did something to enable in game print screen key, not sure what it was. Maybe something the last origin doesnt like ... ?
(edit: something with deactivating desktop smtg, i unticked that and it did nothing)
Any idea ?

(ME3 was wrkg just fine one month ago)

Try making sure you have all available updates for the game and origin?

 

I don't have ME3 on the PC, but when GTA IV (which I do have on the PC) wasn't working, it just took an update to fix it.

For me, the game doesn't even launch. It runs as a background task, it can be killed in Task Manager and that's it. Origin pls

Disable Origin In-game.

In origin try to repair the base game and also each installed dlc, I get the same problem (background task) after updates of origin but this fixes it for me.

Download Rocket Launcher and watch it launch.

check if there is any 0 sized file in save game directory. if so try deleting that.

Disable Origin In-game.

This. In my case, ME didn't launch after the last Origin update and this solution fixed it.

+1 for disable OIG (avoid it like plague).

But if all fails just download some cr*ck and bypass Origin completely while waiting for next Origin update.

Nice, no idea i could bypass origin, but must be harder to play with friend then

Forgot the basics solutions ... But after 1 to 2 weeks i thought those kind of bugs wld be fixed allready !!!

I used a cr*cked .exe to play ME3MP for a few months last year, speed up my loading time by half, also the game seemed running more fluent, downside is you cannot play with friends (still better than not being able to play the game at all lol).

I did this because regular ME3 crashed on start and even disabling OIG didn't help, however after a few Origin updates it fixed itself, so I moved the original .exe back and played normally since then.

Just a little tip for those who have to disable Origin In-game:

 

You can still invite friends to your lobby by Alt-Tab outta the game and use the 'Friends' windows instead.

That one crashes the game on the menu screen. So most probably not.

I have done few stuff, mostly disable origin in game, or autoupdate the thing.

Ok, thx to clusum, i deleted the "Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect 3\Save\Local_Profile.sav"
ME3 launched like usual after that

Pb solved, being unretired now
