The problem is, when you make a Helmet which doesnt cover the hair ,it still hides the hair. It presents a nice gap on that spot.
I do all the tiresome stuff and suddenly this happens. The "fullface" column in the itemvariation only allows that the whole face to hide as well. Either 0 or 1 it seems
Or is there a number which works to show everything of the head?
How to make a helmet, but still show hair?

I hope there is. Circlets would be very nice.

Well been looking over scripts a day and found no way. I searched scripts for "fullface" lol.

Don't think it's a scripting thing. Perhaps it's hard-coded.
If so, then hope that Bioware can tweak that in a patch.

Uhm....it is a bit more complicated, and directly related to how the models are implemented. You see, helmets are not placed "on top of" the hair - they replace the hair entirely. If you wanted to make, say, a circlet that worked with all hairstyles, you would basically have to make a brand new set of hairstyles, which incorporate a circlet.

there is the cheaters way, making a helmet that looks like hair... maybe find some way to steal tint color of the current hair and tint the helmet the same

Well not exactly a thrilling idea dont you think.
So you say, a helmet is replacing the hair, just like armor replaces the body? pooo They made a switch which works for the face called "fullface" , should have for hair too.
