Loves me old PC Games.

Under A Killing Moon
In The 1st Degree
The 7th Guest
The Journeyman Project

Crusader No Remorse + sequel No Regret

Myst

There's tons more but those were the old ones I remember most fondly.

Which ones do you remember most fondly?

No one has mentioned Commander Keen.

lol, that game looks actually like it would be hilarious. But that kid looks like he's been tweaking and hittin' the pipe with Trevor.

I played Myst from the ones on that list. Other than that:

Oregan Trail

Prince of Persia

Commander Keen

One Must Fall 2097

Doom

Dark Sun

Sim City 2000

All 3 Hugo adventure games

Unreal Tournamant

and a lot more. I've actually got most of my CDs from the 90s sitting beside me right now.

Doom

Rise of the Triad (can't beat a shooter where you can have God Mode and Dog Mode.....at the same time)

Quake, but only with South Park mod

HoMM2 (vampires attack by flying up to enemy and going, "Bleh," always ROFL worthy)

HoMM3

CIV2

Diablo 1 and 2

Star Control 2

The Jagged Alliance series

Wing Commander: Privateer

The Quest for Glory series

Heretic & Hexen

A couple of obscure ones:

Stonekeep: A first person RPG from the mid-90s, this game had a big production budget, but came out to mixed reviews at best, and didn't do to well financially. Truth be told, it's buggy as hell and probably not even a good game all things considered. But for me, it works well as a mood piece, and I played the heck out of it.

Lightspeed: A first person flight sim/space exploration game from the early 90s that I've mentioned a bunch of times on these boards, so I won't say too much about it, except to say that it needed five 5 1/4" floppy disks.

Laser Squad: A turn-based tactics game that was a predecessor to XCOM and the Jagged Alliance games; with only five missions, it's fairly bare bones, but those missions were quite difficult so I got a lot out of it.

Loved this game.  Best game ever for creating a totally hopeless atmosphere for the player.

Oh come on, no love for Freedom Force?

This is my favorite video game of all time. There's nothing quite like it.

I've played it so much I can recite Minuteman's entire secret origin by heart.

First videogame I ever played: Star Wars Rebel Assault II

Closely followed by Command and Conquer: Red Alert and onsequently replaced by Civ II which may or may not have been qualified as being classified as addiction at that or some later point (I put soooooo many hours between Civ II, III and IV, thousands (and I don't mean 1000 or 2000 ... well beyond those numbers!!!)).

Haaaah, childhood memories. Whilst other kids were busy trying to catch Mewtwo, I was busy trying to defend my nations from that warmongering Ghandi. Good times.

I remember the 7th Guest. That was a big deal at the time because of the real actors even though the actual acting was hideous.

I'm old enough, though, to remember text based adventures like Zork. Those were killer hard. There was a LOTR text based adventure I remember too. The black riders always got me...
