This is actually based off some of your import choices--the templar during the mob scene in my game calls Cullen "Knight-Captain".

Cullen is promoted only if Hawke sided with the Templars

At the Winter Palace he is always introduced as former Knight-commander of Kirkwall.

You're assuming Hawke never went BACK to Kirkwall during this time period.

So what if he came back? He left because of the red templars, when Cassandra arrived he wasnt at Kirkwall, so the corruption already had happened.

You know what would have helped immensely? During Blackwall's personal quest, you can ask hi about everything, and read some notes, but when you talk to Cullen, you get the option to say "Summarize the situation for me" Brilliant. Now, if only we had that at every plot part that assumes you read the books (which we don't all do), read all the notes and codex stuff (which you don't always do).

 

So, at ball: "Hey Vivienne (or Leliana/Josephine if you don't have her), you know the lay of the land, please summarize what these masked morons have been up to" Thanks BW.

At least she did put a bra on underneath the scarf - but in ten years, support wear becomes a little more necessary, neh?

She always had a bra there, it was just slightly harder to see.
