This year I'm looking forward to a few things, but what I'd like to see is anything from 4A Games. There were rumors Deep Silver might take the Metro series away from them, & they went through that move leaving the Ukraine after Russia invaded, so I would very much like to see that the Metro series is safely in their hands & that they're still keeping busy. There was a three year gap between 2033 & Last Light so I don't expect they'd have much to show yet, but it would be a relief to see something.

If they don't, you can. Never feel like you have to get every title. For example, I've never played Liberations or Rogue.

 

As for me, I'm waiting for the playable female assassin in a main game. Less Jacobs, more Evie's.

I still haven't played Unity yet. Though that's more due to lacking a PS4.

I played it on my Xbox One and didn't run into any of the issues that the vast majority did. Guess I should consider myself lucky.

 

Though if there's anything good that came from Unity's issues its that Ubisoft is gonna work extra hard on the following titles to make sure nothing goes wrong. At least, thats the hope.

But that's the Victorian AC game everyone wanted, right? So I don't complain much this time.

Uh oh, no female protagonist, looks like a text book case of misogyny!

 

Unless of course the idea behind the brother and sister Assassin team is to allow the player a choice between 2 protagonists of different sexes in which case it is shameless pandering to SJWs and minorities.

 

In any case lets hope they don't royally **** it up this time, for me personally though I think I am done with the Assassin's Creed series and will be giving this one a miss.

From what I played of Unity (did not get, found the game to be unplayable in the state at which I left it) it seems that would have been the perfect opportunity

Kinda. Except that you never got to play as Haytham again after you lost control of him. It's too bad too since he was a far better protagonist that Connor.

I haven't seen any confirmation of that anywhere. Even the trailer and gameplay didn't showcase it.

EDIT: What the heck does 'pre-alpha' even mean? Alpha in game development used to mean the design phase where they just block out geometry and plan out how the mechanics work. Not textured and fully polished environments with finished animations and lip-syncing.
