There was already a game in Hammerfell though.
So?

So what are we all hoping for with a new Elder Scrolls of Fallout game? I know you are all hoping for one of the two but what exactly are you hoping to see these games do? More of the same Skyrim goodness or in the case of Fallout Skyrim with guns? Or are we naively hoping for something more? How do you think Bethesda is going to "improve" the Elder Scrolls/Fallout gameplay model for current gen?
Adding cars would improve Fallout. In universe they were nuclear powered so in theory they should still work.
Better physics. Really make those Trenchcoats billow in the wind.
More Liam Neeson.
And keeping the wild wasteland perk around.
All I'm asking for. I'm a humble sort like that.
Liam makes everything better!
Redguard was a spinoff and doesn't count. Nor does Battlespire.

The trench coats not billowing in the wind really annoyed me.
How else are you supposed to look like a cool guy?The trench coats not billowing in the wind really annoyed me.
The assassin armor from dead money or the stealth suit mk. II from old world blues.

Fallout 2 already included a working car. So, it's not theory, but something up to Bethesda to include.

Except Fallout apparently, I have no idea what direction Bethesda gives their voice actors but for some reason every time they hire a big name voice actor they always give a flat performance, not sure if it is the writing, the scene design and character animations, or the actors they hire aren't used to voice acting and can't get in the mood.
Sean Bean constantly sounded sullen and bored, Patrick Stewart was dead before the tutorial was over and I can't really say I felt Liam Neeson did much better, perhaps they should just spread their money out on a variety of voice actors instead of blowing it on one big name star and getting 4 people to voice the rest.
Hire more than 5 people to voice NPCs
An inevitable and better iteration of Fallout made by Obsidian (possibly a follow-up to New Vegas)
Otherwise, I don't give a big toss about Bethesda. Dishonored might be fun, but all I'm counting on for now is something from Ninja Theory (namely gameplay footage of Hellblade) since Atlus most likely won't be showing anything.
Agreed on Bethesda needing better and more varied VO work in their games.
Hoping for Soul Calibur 6 and a PS4 price cut.

I don't know the first one probably needs it. It's been 9 years.

I want new games. I'd rather they leave the 7th gen titles to the 7th gen.

Exactly. We haven't even totally left it behind yet. Just another symptom of the industry's lack of creativity and the need for quick, safe cash grabs.

Yeah, but nostalgia is big business just ask Nintendo.

Why? Gears of War was one of the more solid earlier releases in the 360's lifetime. Why not just play it on that?

I was meaning in visuals. It looks good, but if they want to touch it up I say why not.
