personally i just expect 90s shooter games to stay dead, not be remade 100 times a year for the next 20 years
Well, don't know about shooter specifically, - or '90ies - but I would say that about any game that doesn't contain anything else but the tired, old Space Invaders videogame-paradigm. My suspicion is that the publishers want to make these games more than the market wants them.
I might be wrong, but I can see as possible that Doom and Battle Cry might tank horribly. And if they do, it might be great for the industry. I'm terribly tired of games like that. And I don't understand why everybody isn't.

There was another, as yet unrevealed new IP Bioware has been working on besides Shadow Realms. David Gaider left Dragon Age to work on it.
I doubt we'll get a reveal here, but here's to hoping.

I wonder what kind of ideas Casey Hudson has tossed around after working with MS/HoloLens stuff. I mean, Minecraft (and nude card games?) are one thing, but he's always been pretty story based.
