Lyrics:

Shall I go, shall I stay
107 light years away
many times, so many doubts
But no reason to talk about

Mission is over, mission is done
I will miss you, children of the sun
But it's time to go away
Goodbye milky way

For a better world without hate
Follow your heart, believe in fate
Only visions and the mind
Will guide you to the light

Mission is over mission is done
I will miss you children of the sun
But it's time to go away
Goodbye milky way

Mission is over, mission is done
I will miss you children of the sun
I go home until someday
I say goodbye, goodbye milky way

In 5 bilions years the Andromeda galaxy will collide with our milky way
A new gigantic Cosmic world will be born

Just to lighten up the mood a little :P

Why not have both the Milky Way and Andromeda?

In Mass Effect one through three we used a Relay to hop from system-to-system. Why not use a Relay to hop from galactic disk-to-galactic disk?

Maybe that's our goal in this game so the next one we can focus on the interaction between both galaxies. Just an idea.

Could start the prologue in the Milky during the Reaper war, then set the rest in Andromeda? The whole leaving your Galaxy vibe could help some Milky loyalists relate to their Hero more.

Or distance them from the hero more.

I suppose it depends on your feelings on the matter, just trying to find a comprmise for both sides. Hopefully Bioware comes up with one better than mine.

Maybe. I just hope we don't permanently leave. A few games to give a writer time to make a return to MW story would be fine, but abandoning it would hurt me more than a canon ending just because of all the untaped potential left behind with it just because people think the ending can't be taken into account(which is just an insult to the writers on ME because they could do this imho).

Sadly I don't think such a compromise is possible.

Why not every known galaxy? Why not make every planet we come across explorable? Why not time travel? Why not alternate universes?

We could always Synthesize ;) or atleast agree to disagree for another month or so until E3 and spirits hoping we get some tangible answers other than heresay and unconfirmable surveys.

We can. But I meant even with Bioware confirming one way or the other, I don't think a compromise for both sides will be possible.

Regrettably you are likely correct, and on that day the new ME4 forum will burn. :(

I just hope that if indeed they do the whole "another galaxy" thing that they come up with a better excuse than the whole ME3 Crucible-Catalyst thing. Because if they pull another one "this is like that just because it is" then I am not sure that even ME fans like myself will stay for another game.
