It could work couldn't it? Lately there has been a bit of discussion about the possibility of Zelda featuring a female version of Link but what do you think of it? Link already has a lot of feminine traits and since most Zelda games aren't direct sequels and feature a new incarnation of the hero of time what is to say that one of them can't be female?

I know there has been a lot of controversy lately with SJWs trying to change everything to conform to their preferences and while characters such as Lady Thor may not have been as well thought out as they could have been

personally I think a female Link or hero of time could work and to be honest the idea just appeals more to me than the usual male protagonist. I am not saying that they should or should not do this (though personally I would not mind seeing it) just wondering what peoples opinions on the matter are?

As long as they just do it, sure why not? It's when they feel the need to put a spotlight on the change that it becomes a bit too much.

Why not a Sheik/Zelda game? I'd kill for a Sheik Stealth/Action-Adventure game.

We all can guess who chose the s*itlord option...

Knights and he's going to try to blame Johnnie to protect his image.

Yeah but he'll fail. I'll just keep cornering him in his bs, the filthy scum.

I'd also insult him, but I don't think he's bright enough to notice.

Lets be honest here, everyone who votes for any of the last 3 options is a misogynistic shitlord, the person who voted 5 is merely being honest about it.

Thank you.

You're not welcome.

And you're suppose to be in bed, so since that plan is abandoned, why do you make yourself useful and make me something worth while in the kitchen?

Instead of the insistency to appeal to political correctness I'd prefer to create original strong characters of whatever gender fits said character. So in other words -- No, I don't see much point in changing Link to female.

I don't really care tbh, Though I don't understand why you want this? The legend of Zelda series already has plenty of strong female characters.

... like Zelda.

Impa, Naavi, Sera, Princess Ruto, Malon, and the Gerudo (a race of people that are almost entirely female -- who knew?!).

And that's just Ocarina of Time! I'm sure there are a ton more spread throughout the dozens of Zelda games.

That female Link is cute though, I'll give you that.

Spoiler

Eh, I wouldn't mind them providing for both options. I probably would stick with male Link, but other than a new character model and changing he to she, I can't imagine this taking up too much effort. Of course, this is all provided that I actually buy a Wii U, which isn't happening any time soon.
