Do I really need to explain it again? I mean if you can't expend the minimum amount read my posts in this thread to gain a basic understanding of what the topic is about before opening your gob to spout your ill-informed rebuttal then why should I bother explaining it to you again? It honestly does not matter how many times I explain that this topic is NOT about feminism, men's rights, misogyny, misandry or any other PC issues you want to bring up people just don't get the message, are you honestly looking for reasons to be offended or is cat memes the only form of communication the BSN understands?

 

 

It is sad that a person now days cant even express an opinion or preference without being accused of bigotry, if you prefer the male version of a character you are a misogynist, if you prefer the female version you are a misandrist, this **** has got to stop, honestly for people who claim to hate feminism you guys are just as bad and hypocritical as Anita Sarkesian.

No offense but I'm not really getting the sense that most of you have even read the backstory for Link to the Past (or any of the Zeldas?)? I can't help but think this is just random mudslinging for the most part.

Zelda's story is the easiest story to get anywhere. 

 

Bad man hurt good girl. Good guy saves good girl. Bad guy dies and gets ready to respawn. 

 

On the plus side, this backstory make it so a female Link should never be theoretically possible, and I appreciate that kind of set role that only a game from Japan can deliver these days. Stick it to 'em.

So allow me to shut this thread down with a decent argument. 

 

Women, you already have a nice line up of badass female characters who are good at inflicting pain upon their male counterparts. Texas, Ikaros, Samus, Lora Croft and a hundred other characters out there who can easily beat their male friends. So why do some of you feel the need to make male characters and turn them female? Now, I'm not trying to be sexist. I may sound like it but I'm far from it.

OP, you want a female link and did I see somewhere a female Kratos or something like that? Why do you feel the need for such a thing? I wouldn't want my favorite character, Ikaros to be gender swapped. So why do you feel the need that every character in video games needs to be f***ing female? I don't see threads saying "Let's make Lora Croft a man!" That's because the character is fine the way it is. 

 

The characters are fine the way they are, so stop pushing to make video games conform to your liking. That's what all the feminazis do. We know you want all of our beloved male badasses and make them female while disregarding the female badasses because you got your head crammed so far up your bum you cannot see anything.
