I'm not complaining. I'm baffled. I'm genuinely confused as to why you are still trying to troll with this thread. You keep claiming that people are upset, but do you honestly think that simply repeating over and over how upset people are is actually going to make them angry? There is no one left still reading the thread who thinks you were ever hoping for a serious conversation about a female Link, so at this point, I honestly don't understand why you're still insulting and attacking people. It's pointless.

 

I am not the one attacking people in this thread nor is my goal to upset people, to be honest I am not sure why you guys are getting so butthurt of concept art of a female protagonist? Obviously you guys have some sort of issue with the thread otherwise you wouldn't be bumping it with ad-hominem attacks and shameless trolling attempts in an effort to get it locked.

 

While it would be nice if such topics were possible to discuss on these forums without it devolving into the mess it has turned into, if at this point it does not look like I am hoping for a serious discussion on the topic it is because I have resigned to the fact that the folks on the BSN just aren't capable of a mature discussion on the topic.

The best solution really is have the next Zelda to have a co-op option. Either Zelda joins Link in the next adventure or some new character entirely. I see no need to change an establish character.

I'm not going to bother quoting the dozens of posts where people explain that they don't mind, or that they like female protagonists, because you are already aware of all of them. No one is dumb enough to think you are genuinely unaware that this thread completely failed to generate the "anti-female" anger you clearly so desperately want to believe that it will eventually inspire if you repeatedly claim that it has.

I have made no ad hominem attacks against you, and neither has anyone else. You're the only one doing that. And I'm not trolling you, nor am I attempting to get your thread locked (although you seem to be making quite an effort to get it locked.) I have merely pointed out that it is obvious that you created this thread in an attempt to generate anger, and when that failed, you went with plan B - to claim that everyone is angry and anti-woman while everyone around you is doing this:

 

 

Because your constant meltdown about all the rage you inspired is nothing more than thin air. It never happened. No one is angry. No one is upset. No one is bothered by the idea of a female protagonist, and no one believes that you genuinely think your troll attempt is working.

Actually, as I mentioned earlier, in spite of your efforts, a bit of legit conversation on the subject did occur. It was periodically interrupted by you condescending to people, insulting their posts, and claiming a bunch of arguing was happening that everyone could plainly see was no more than you inventing conflict where none existed.

 

Your are so desperate to pretend that your troll attempt is working that you are actually hoping that constantly repeating how angry and argumentative everyone is will actually make it happen. I don't know why you don't just give up on the whole troll attempt and actually participate in what legit conversation did take place (except that we both know you were never interested in that conversation in the first place.)

Exactly and most posts my self included have pointed out that female link while a cool concept will just be a "Dude whith boobs." trope. 

We would rather have a New character or the option to chose.

I'll again support Grav's notion that an awesome female character like that FemLink from before would be awesome, but it doesn't necessarily have to be a female Link. An original character like that would be boss.
