I kinda wish people would stop comparing this to ME3...

Why wouldn't they? What should they compare it to instead?

Would be nice if we could get like a full week where no one complained about loot, or support of this product.

Wishful thinking I know.

Maybe if they designed or supported it better, we'd hear fewer complaints.

Multiplayer is fun but I get bored after an hour or 2. I wish we could create our own characters Race/Class/skills. I wish we had way more maps to pick from.

Also a Multiplayer Dungeon Builder, aren't we Hosting the (CENSORED) game anyways.

Yes you are right, since this game was made by a different Development Team, but its strange is that they don't share libraries....

The Spymaster promised to let them look at their library.

Back in February people were saying the same thing about DAMP, how boring it was and how it would inevitably die very soon. Many invited me to play Evolve. Well, it turned out Evolved is deader than DAMP.

DAMP is a half assed game and it is not for everyone. However, the hardcore playerbase will just keep playing it regardless. Also, there is a visible influx of new as well as not so new players joining the grind. There is at least one substantial DLC to be released (the very first, but still) and hopefully there will be many more coming. Perhaps Bioware can still put this game on track to be almost half as good as the good old ME3MP, who knows.

I doubt it, the complaints would just be about something else.

People like the dev team?  Which compared this game to ME3 numerous times during the Twitch streams and announcements?  What was it, "we will support this game more than ME3" or something like that?

An unnamed representative said it would be supported 'far beyond' ME3 MP (whatever that means) according to PC Gamer.

Though the lack of a named source makes the quote less than rock solid...

I've scoured for additional attributed quotes, but can only find this one.

TBH I'd settle for ANY support at this point. What we've gotten has been rather pathetic so far. Game breaking bugs introduced by the Destruction "DLC" weren't fixed for what, two months? That's shameful.

Oh no dear boy, one does not simply AIM the piranha. You walk up to them stick the muzzle to their head, and hold down the trigger. Incase you weren't around to see the Piranha pre-nerf, it actually was pretty O...uh...awesome :D

If they added something like daily bounties aka Destiny. That'd be cool. Those weekend challenges suck a bit...it's too boring.

If the arcane warrior isn't being nerfed, I think they should focus on quantity and just pump hours of fun into DAIMP by adding 27 classes. They don't need to balance them, so it shouldn't be too difficult.

it's obvious to bioware that balance is the least of their concerns, and adding more quantitative wise may increase the replay value slightly, with their past track records, I'm afraid they'd be more filler than quality.

What's with the nerf calls for the AW? It can be more effective (at surviving, more than anything) than the other classes, but like any other, you need to know what you're doing. If you don't, you could easily find yourself in a situation in which you can't keep your barriers up, and if you can't keep your barriers up, you're going to be dead real quick. This is aimed at the in-your-face, offensive type of AW though. In more of a support role, the AW isn't as capable of keeping barriers up, meaning charging in and trying to one-man-army everything probably isn't the best idea in the world.

I have a post in suggestions about a multiplayer character creator with custom skill sets would go awesome with Laforgus's dungeon builder idea. Both idea's would make this game highly addicting to me.

For Bioware to balance the game, they must have to remove stat points and reset everyone. Even if 30 maps are added, 5 factions and 78 Kits to play, sooner or later for fun the game will turn bored once people start to get 300 or 400 Wil/Cun/Con.

Perilous is beginning to fell like Routine nowadays, a difficulty should stay a challenge like Platinum on ME3, even with best weaponds it took skill to beat.

But what skills DAMP requires? All the characters are freaking slow, the Archer and Hunter being the worst (that delay with the bow!), there's no cover mechanic and the moves are really clunky compared to ME3MP.

A skilled player in ME3MP meant someone with the ability to change the game with tactics and great execution. It required actual reflexes and skills.

A skilled player in DAMP means someone with a lot of promotions and the ability to predict what will happen in 5 seconds because if you don't predict it before it happens, there's no way you're gonna get out of it alive with reflexes or skills...

DAMP's missing a lot of polish, and I mean a LOT... especially compared to ME3MP.

The game will feel new again when you use army dirks, and the boon of spoon in perilous...trust me...

Difference in game design, for better or worse.  Clearly knowledge and approach are far more valuable than reflexes or accuracy.  Its meant to be a slower paced game, where battles are more intermittent, but drawn out.

Every game can always use more polish, but polish wont change general game design.

I truly hope they're working on new content and things to improve and add to MP ; it's not awesome but still fun to play, would just need work and dlcs to keep gamers playing it

Nope, I just google 'dragon age multiplayer beyond mass effect', and it's there.

Just seen Destructoid carried the story too, but curiously has exactly the same quote and exactly the same unnamed representative...  <_<

Maybe, just maybe it's a legitimate quote. You very freely offer biower the benefit of the doubt here everyday, but are unwilling to give it to anyone else? I wonder why.

It may well be legitimate, I just like to see a source.

And it is such a strange phrase: 'far beyond ME3'... It puzzles me...

Unwilling to give others the benefit of the doubt?

Not always, maybe, kind of depends on whether their argument holds water.

You're trying to imply fanboyism? If so, probably true  :).
