Ahem... so, like, CrossFire, which is just a crappier Counter Strike clone, is totally, like, making money, on its respective market, of shameless "pay to win". Being a financial success doesn`t automatically make a game good is all I`m trying to say.

"Great", and "Good" are subjective.

To the 63 million people that bought his songs, likely he is.

I never said they weren't.

Your reasons for calling MP a great product are the issue.

My personal opinion is the issue? Ok, it's at least nice to know the ad hominem going on. Thanks for being clear on that part.

Ad hominem? Where?

You have reasons for thinking the MP is a great product other than "SP sold a ton" or "It's unique"? I'd like to hear them. You know, features of the actual MP portion of the game.

You haven't given any reasonable reasons for MP being a great product yet.

It's fun. And we all spend countless hours of our lives arguing on a forum about it.

In all honesty an analytic justification is not a prerequisite for holding and stating an opinion around here.

'meh' and 'loooooooool' are not exactly analytically justified opinions either, yet you have the right to share them without challenge ;).

I can and will argue about everything. The game has nothing to do with it.

If TormDK had stated the amount of enjoyment he receives playing the MP portion as justification for it being a great product, we won't be having this conversation now. SP selling well implying MP is a great product is not a barometer for greatness.

Well arguing to argue is one thing. That may be what you intend to do.

I think its safe to infer that Torm thinks or thought the game was fun. He wouldn't have sat there playing it thinking "I don't really like this... but it sold so many copies I guess I should keep playing for few hundred more hours..."

I'm not arguing just to argue. I argue when I spot fallacies. I just happen to like doing it.

Why infer his meaning when he responded directly to my comments questioning its greatness with explicit reasons?

@ TormDK a perfect example of a game that offers the same as DAMP i.e. free content, no subscriptions but does it much better is ME3MP. Bioware had a winning formula with that game but somehow managed to screw it up in DAMP. A friend keeps telling me this crazy idea that Bioware made two lists after ME3. One list to highlight all the things they did well (so they can copy it over to DAMP) and a list containing all the things that they did badly (so they could improve/avoide). The trouble is that they got the lists mixed up! Im starting to believe my friend is onto something...Bioware pls

Honestly I'd ask what do you expect in the next DLC? Knowing BioWare they'll release new characters and what? That's it for the next 6 months or so? If they were smart they'd add something to the MP that will keep people playing every day. Those weekend challenges are fine...for now. It's in my 'to do list' when it's done I'm like 'well, I don't see any point to keep playing'. They need to do something about this.

EDIT: and promoting characters is kinda lame truth be told. You can do it over and over again, but it makes the game monotonous.

Not for me to be honest, it keeps an objective in front of me at all times and allows me to try a variety of builds.

It is decent.  Has it's issues, but I think you'd find it fun.  Anyhow, check it out since it's free.

I can envision a DAMP montage to this song. It involves a lot of "over here!"s, raging over a mic, and AWs running through the map dumping aggro.

you know it's much more fun to just open the door, run away, and watch them wipe from the revenant. Personal experience is always the best educator.
