Hello Keepers,
For this release, we're happy to say we've been able to add a few of the features you've been waiting for, in addition to our regular bug fixing. Remember, if you're having trouble viewing the new release, follow the troubleshooting steps.
To learn what's new read on, or view the handy video guide we've put together for you!
Having trouble uploading your custom hero to the Keep?
While we do our best to sync your heroes, we know it's not always perfect. That's why you can now re-create them in the Keep! Just select any DAO, DA2 or DA:I hero you'd like you to customize and...
- Edit their name
- Capture their history by adding a biography
- New! Change the portrait for your custom and default heroes by uploading a new one. Just find the hero you'd like to customize and click on their portrait to change it to one of your choosing. (To view more details check out the handy video guide)
Please keep in mind that when you share your world state with friends, the custom details you've added will not be shared and the default heroes will appear in their place.
Career section not syncing properly?
You can now let us know what isn't working by selecting "request unlock" and we'll unlock anything you might be missing in the career section. That way, if the syncing refuses to pick-up something you can fix it yourself on the Keep.
- New! Unlock anything you're missing from the Career section using the "request unlock" button
- New! Instead of replaying the onboarding experience, if you'd like to check what's new in the Career section, use the "Career Sync" button. If you've unlocked something new while playing, you should be notified
- New! We've added a few new Keep challenges, check them out in the Career section
If you tried the "request unlock" feature prior to this release, you'll have to go back into the Keep and select what you'd like us to unlock for you again.
Pesky Heroes hanging around?
We know you've all been trying out that awesome character creator in DA:I and might have a few too many heroes hanging around in the Keep.
- New! Now you'll be able to delete your Inquisitors from the Hero section (View more details view the handy video guide)
- You can still delete your DAO and DA2 custom heroes. Just visit the Hero section, select the custom hero you'd like to delete, and use the 'Delete this Hero' button to remove them
You cannot delete the default heroes, as the Keep needs them to make sure you can create all possible world states using the Tapestry.
Too many Playthrough states?
The Keep will store your most recent 100 playthrough states. After you hit the limit, the older ones will start to be overwritten as you create new ones.
- New! Delete your playthrough states by visiting the World State Manager and use the trash can icon to delete a playthrough state you no longer want. (View more details view the handy video guide)
Inquisition Tapestry doesn't quite look right?
We know there's a few bugs with plots unlocking on the DA:I Tapestry, but you can now fix them using the spoiler toggle feature. By turning the spoilers to 'Show' you'll then be able to edit the choices in the DA:I Tapestry to accurately reflect your playthrough.
- You can also plan your next playthrough by editing the choices in DAO and DA2 to view the impact on the DA:I tapestry. Import those choices in for a new Inqusition experience! (View more details view the handy video guide)
- You can turn the spoilers back on and view what you have left to discover
Warning: if you choose to show spoilers, you will see spoilers. Jaws of Hakkon tiles are coming soon.
