In the U.S. it varies from state to state.
 
The lowest age of consent is 16 (possibly 15) and it usually highest is 18. 
 
Unless we're talking about the legal age to consume alcohol which is 21 (almost?) everywhere.

Pretty much, though speaking as someone who lives in a state with the age of consent at 16, almost everyone just acts like it's 18.

I believe the age for alcohol is indeed 21 in all states. Though it's not like the states couldn't lower it. It's simply that Mothers Against Drunk Driving was very good at lobbying Congress, and Congress will take away federal money for highways from any state that doesn't have the drinking age at 21 or higher.

Honestly, yes.

Not the lonely part, that's easy to understand. But why pay a woman to hang out with you while you play games? If she's hot, she'll distract you and get in your way. If she's not, then she's a waste of money because she's not good to look at. If she talks to you, she distracts you and gets in your way.

Maybe I'm just too much of a sperg to see the positives of the fake intimacy, but I like distraction-free gaming. Unless she actually plays with you and can carry her weight, it's just wasting money on a distraction tbh.

It depends on the type of video game you are playing. If its in a dungeon with friends where you need to be focused to spam heals or DPS. Then yes of course, turn your head for more then a few seconds, become distracted you'll end up killing off your whole team. If its a game like grand theft auto five. Majority of the game is racing from point A to point B. Then No. I don't think its too much of a distraction.

 

People look at this through the lens of intimacy. What if its less complicated then that. What if you just want someone to chat or hang out as buddy while you play games. The most obvious would be to call your actual friends to hang out with while you play games. Lets be honest. Not many friends that are that are not into gaming are not exactly thrilled by watching you play.

 

I just don't see the negative aspect. It's not as if its a drug, that will kill you. It's just friendly conversation. What is so bad about that.

I think its a difference of a point of view. The type of video game. There are some games that allow you some time to breath while you are playing the game. Men wanting eye candy. That truth goes back to dawn of time. Frankly, It's a good business model if men are actually willing to pay. My biggest factor would be. How much am I paying. If it's 34 dollars per hour then no. If its something like 12-14 ( a little above wage at national level in America at 8 dollars) then I could understand that. 

 

In truth it might be more interesting to girls that are people person to talk with a guy for more money then she would make flipping burgers. For the girl. It's not hard work. For the game. Its entertainment in a different way. I don't judge too much. I could honestly see it working. We have girls on the internet that do much much more men pay them thousands for cam girls. This is different. It's just hanging out. If the guy gets too clingy then I could see how it might not work out. Not all guys of course there are some guys that keep going back to hooters they think the waitress thinks they are cute.
