Agree with allot of this but I have a question to anyone who reads this. Ever since ME1 everytime the Council was presented the "Reaper threat" they'd enter ful blown denial mode, so why would they aprove this Ark? According them first they didn't exist then Sovreign was a Geth creation.

Wasn't "ah yes Reapers" just a (bad) attempt to justify ME2's plot that was later damage controlled?

Bad attempt to justify ME2, yes.  But there was no attempt at damage control.

HEck, even Joker lampshades it if you pick the renegade response with him after meeting the Council.

I really wish ME3 Renegad gave me the ability to "lose" my comms conection to the Council, huge missed oportunity.

Is this ome kind of game to you Comander.

Can't wait to see this scene become even dumber than it already was.

Dreamgazer I'm getting a little worried that we're agreeing with each other so much lately  :P

The Archives in the Citadel DLC seem like damage control.

It's kind of ironic that the one who was more offensive about Shepard and his/her Reaper 'theory', was the one more eager to help him in ME3.

Damage control in the DLC that gets taken least seriously?

Could've been foreshadowing the plot of ME Next though. Otherwise, what was the point of revealing after three games that the Council believed Sovereign was a Reaper all along?

I mean by that point BW had probably been working on the new game for the better part of half a year.
