I simply can not understand why you (Bioware) would make the Staff of the Void have the appearance it has. It looks like it should be able to take a blade and staff upgrade (or was the condom look intentional?), and yet it doesn't... not cool! So we are left with a staff that looks half finished, although the top half looks nice (not new though, that's Malcolm's staff - so why could you just import the ENTIRE Malcolm's staff graphics....?)

If you make a 'unique' staff, then please let it look unique. The Tyrda staff was a good example of what can be done. Your design staff seems just either lazy or inept, I can't decide which.

Staff of the Void was meant to look elegant, which it most certainly does. Adding a blade to it would diminish its inherent appearance imo. Luckily if it bothers you so much there is a schematic that uses its design where you can put a blade if you'd like.

Also, I fail to see how Tyrda's staff is a good example. The twin snakes design has been used since Origins. There's simply nothing unique about it.

Unless, you are referring to Hakkon's Wisdom staff model..?

Ugh I hate that too. You can get the schematic if you finish the Bull's Charger's War Table Operations. It's called the Sentinel Staff. I rename it staff of the void after I give it a nice looking grip and blade. I personally think the thin staff grip or ornate staff grip are perfect for it along with the disciple staff blade which I think is just a thin pointed tip or the other blade that looks like a snake sword but I forget the name.

Staff of the Void does not look elegant

Exhibit 1: Staff of the Void

Exhibit 2: Malcolm's Honor

http://dragonage.wik...Malcolm's_Honor

Malcolm's Honor had a integrated head, grip and blade that made it look unique

Staff of the Void looks unfinished with that grey-white know on the end, and wooden grip

Tyrrda's staff might be an old model, but it looks unique, as the only one of it's kind in the game, and the staff is an integrated model that looks good.
