Characters and tinting armor..
Multiplayer is nice add though it lacks players on PS3.
I don't have problems finding a group. I'm not on the hardest level yet though.

The soundtrack. Even if they do the MMO thing and have it play once every blue moon, the OST's really good stuff.
I'm trying to find something else complimentary about it, but 1) I'm on the 360 version, and 2) I felt ripped off less by DA2. It's really hard.
Mixed feelings.
The return of multiple playable races is great. Missed my dwarf since DAO. To bad though theres so little that's changing if you pick any of them.
The (few) armours that you can equip look's great. But! So many armour's, like the fereldan for example is unobtainable and whatever class/race you pick you always end up looking the same for the most part. Most of the head gear looks terrible and some of the cool looking helmets are npc only.
Tintable armour great, but what about weapons?
The open world is in my oppinion great! And theres still more room on the map to add more. But then again its quite empty. The only "main" city you can visit you get contained to a single small marketplace?
I could go on like this for every aspect of the game but instead I could just give my thought on the game like this.
Most of it is great! But theres not enought of it or theres to much of it (fetch me those shards/goat/meat anyone?).
I enjoy this game alot, but im not sure I would have if it werent the DA universe. And that said, what I enjoy most. Being back into the world of DA.
I have a blast with the hack and slash combat even though I not even that much of a hack in slash fan. I love challenge and strategy and DA:I single player falls flat in both those departments. The multiplayer is pretty good thougg just limited content.
Hmm, let see...
- Characters (Blackwall, Cullen, Dorian)
- Graphics
- Voiced main character
- Dialogue wheel (instead of text box)
- ME style Combat
- Music
- Romance (the three guys above)
- Size of the different areas
- Open world
- Tinting table
Now if only there was better hair and brows, a real city area and more LI content - and no PJ's - then I would be truly a happy camper.
Graphics are nice.
Graphics and a few squad mates thats it.
The beautiful and empty city of Val Royeaux.
Val Royeaux is not only the secular capital, but also the capital of the Chantry, the seat of the Divine situated at the Grand Cathedral in Val Royeaux.
This grand city with few market stalls, an immobile handful (maybe 4 handfulls) of NPCs. Hell, it's even smaller than Denerim.

I'm pretty sure it's smaller than Lothering.

That's not surprising..considering all the issues last-gen has.
For me its the combat. MP combat and SP combat but I have more fun playing MP. I like all the different classes you can be and the different builds you can make with the skill tree's. I like using charging bull and knocking enemies over. I like lighting mobs on fire and watching them run for the hills. I like the epic battles with huge giants and dragons. No the combats not perfect but it is fun and the most enjoyable part of the game for me.
What about DA:I do you enjoy most?
For me combat is the worst part... it's better now than at launch, but still a total let down ![]()
What I like the most about DA:I is the detailed environments, simply stunning to look at on my PC ![]()
1. The voice acting. It is absolutely fantastic.
Of course the banter never plays (!!) and the main story is too short.
2. The PC graphics.
The World Design or rather the environment. It is beautiful.
But I played it on PS3 and won't buy it for PS4 in this state ... gamedesign-wise ...
Cast, story line, lore aaaand look of the game. The art design is fantastic. They also did a good job with mounts and adding scalability to the game, I think. Oh! High dragons are lurvly. ![]()
The dragon fights. I forgot about those. Most of them were superb. Especially the ones that had some kind of build-up to them. The one on the Storm Coast, for example. You hear loud growling and such as you climb that cliff on the island. Great stuff.
Ooh there were a lot of things I liked about the game (doesn't mean they can't be improved, but that'd be icing on the cake for me
)
I really felt like this was a strong cast of characters. I would've loved to have seen them interacting with each other more often (in the sense of how Merrill would play a game of cards with Isabela, or Anders would visit Varric in DA2), but even standing as individuals I thought they were interesting. My favorite part was that I actually didn't really like everyone all that much, as a product of them being written so well. Sera's motivations and mine were drastically different, so while I found her very funny, she often disapproved of what I did, and I disapproved of what she'd say
I think that really exemplified a shift away from some of the more generally all around likable characters that Bioware has done in the past (not that I'm saying everyone necessarily liked them, just that many seemed a touch softened). I like the generally likable ones too! Just thought it was a nice change to meet someone I didn't like a whole bunch because she was written so well.
I did like how the dragons were upgraded. They were far more individualistic, and a bit more challenging. I'd love to see them continue to expand on them (can I please ride a dragon)
The crafting system. There's still some kinks that I think need to be sorted out, but overall I thought the general idea behind it was a good one. I like having the option to focus on defense vs. offense (though I wish they'd bring back skill points
), and being able to have some say in how my Inquisitor looked. I hope they expand on this in future titles, and clean it up a bit (I still think ME3 had one of the most efficient ways of sorting armor, though I suppose that wouldn't transfer over too well in DA)
The CC itself. Again, I agree with the general populace that more hairstyles would have been appreciated, but I think it's pretty cool how many options are now available as far as creating a character that's totally unique. I liked how they made efforts to make the elves look distinct from humans (Dragon Age: Origins' elves just looked like tiny humans, which was eh, and DA2's elves had...some issues). In the future, I hope they expand the qunari race to also take into account the appearances of qunari as shown in DA2. While I didn't have any major issues myself with what was offered, I know a lot of people preferred the older look, and I certainly would never say no to more options ![]()
I feel like Val Royeaux was a major teaser XD it was too small, but for what they had, I thought the design was pretty cool. I'd really like to see them expand upon cities in future titles, not only making a city consist of more than one small district, but also including more cities. I would have loved to have been able to compare Val Royeaux to Denerim, or Kirkwall, or some other city, and observe the cultural differences at play.
Those were a couple of things I liked about the game.
The crafting system and some characters interations, that unfortunately barely happen...
The choice mechanic is still my favorite thing about all the DA games. The characters are a close second.
Characters (and voice acting). Each of them has something I like about regardless of whether I get along with them or not (I don't need them to agree with my Quisitor in order to appreciate their character). They feel like realistic multi-layered individuals. Dorian especially made an impression.
Graphics and environments (on PC). Just... beautiful.
Soundtrack
Crafting and individualistic armor designs. I like how each character has their own style. You can have them wear different armors yes, but there's still a certain look to them, depending of the character wearing it.
Dragons. I immensely enjoyed the dragon fights (despite my AI partners' occasional jackassery). Challenging and different.
ONLY thing I liked in DAI:

Crafting, romances, CC, humor plus a lot of other things. But....I still hate the hair.
And oh yes.. the DRAGONS!!! ![]()
the previews and hype that tricked me into paying full price for this game.
