Is anyone else hoping that we'll see more female turians, krogan, salarians (though I understand why the latter would never be outside their colonies) in Mass Effect 4? Through the Blasto movie we've heard an elcor female, so we know they exist (they're non-humanoid enough that I don't think they'd even need to make a new character model). Mentions of volus females can be found here or there (Cerberus Daily News refers to a volus comedienne). Blasto has "enkindled many females throughout the galaxy." Batarians have females and presumably so do the vorcha. Do you think we'll see any of these?

Most likely. Most races won't even need different character models for each gender.

Unless it's one of the major races (like the Turian female in ME3: Omega), unlikely. BioWare is more likely to introduce more gender variety with the new races they are bringing to the MEU.

Well, there are several races who don't need them. Elcor, Volus, Hanar, Salarians, possibly Krogan. None of them need different models because they wouldn't necessarily have different physiology or we wouldn't see the differences in the case of the Volus.

Oh I thought you meant that females look exactly like males, like with the Salarians. Drell and Turian was done well imo.

I honestly didn't think it was cheap. The salarians are non-mammalians, and don't necessarily need to have any noticeable sexual dimorphism. They have cloacas and external fertilization, so even if they got naked it might be hard to tell.

No. Well, not for all of them anyway. A few races would have the males and females look the same just because they have the same physiology. Like I can't see how a female Hanar or Elcor would look different than a male Hanar or Elcor. 

 

For the more humanoid races, it depends of the physiology. Like the Turians and Drell would be different while Salarians and Krogans not so much.

There is literally no reason we shouldn't see more of them, especially female turian who should have been as numerous as human males. Bioware said time restraints was why we never really got them until ME3. Can't really use this again for this game. They should be in, no questions about it. They should also have their own unique models.
