Can you comment on the exploding mushrooms?

They are awesome 

(particularly for Luka)

 

 

These were a neat addition to the map.  You know what would be cool BW?  If running over a mushroom had the effect of player wearing spectral space magic rainbow shades, and perhaps a Unicorn or two running around, perhaps smash a few pots for us, then it/they off into the sunset (or clip through a wall) back to Narnia.  See, that would be cool.  Less donuts, more space magic shrooms and we'll be on the same page.

 

Note to BSN: I actually don't even need drugs to think this stuff up.  I know right!!

Why should we have to go onto Twitch or Twitter to interact with a Dev? What is the point of this forum then? Fiddzz you said we confuse dev interaction with wanting new DLC/Functionality. Thats complete nonsense and is an insult to members of the community. So many posters (myself included) have requested dev interaction to notify them about our issues/ concerns as well as any bugs we come accross. Kenny asked you a sensible question about the matchmaking isolating players by putting them in their own lobby. I raised this same point months ago and I believe it was you who said that this would be passed onto the devs to look at. Still have no answer?

Its quite frankly insulting that you suggest were just looking for new functionality/DLC when this clearly isnt the case.

I agree with this, it doesn't make sense to have a forum for the game only to say that interactions will be elsewhere like twitch/twitter. I use neither(and choose not to, making a forum account was more work than I wanted to) ... I browse forums and the internet. Same with other people.. They come to your forum first before twitch or Twitter.

Why does using a healing potion break stealth?

 

It doesn't. Littering with the bottle afterwards does. I've played enough stealth games to know breaking a bottle is the best way to catch a guard's attention, so throwing it at your own feet is always going to go poorly for you.

It's also much easier for EA BioWare to distance themselves from a problematic opinion shared on a personal Twitter feed, than from a BioWare Employee on a BioWare Forum. In a world where every sentence, every word is analysed (and can have real world impact on stock price) such risk mitigation practices matter.

I would disagree. Sure they may say it is a "personal" twitter feed, but that means nothing. The general public views it because they know it's a Bioware employee. Just like athletes, it may be their own "personal" twitter but we all know them from the sport the play and thus it reflects on the team they play for. If it was truly personal the majority of their followers would be friends and family because lets be honest, no one gives a **** what you say on twitter if you are just some random person.

on the new destruction map variants in the Elven Ruins you come across some huge mushrooms - when you trample on them they explode

I wasn't asking for special treatment, I was explaining why I didn't know what TL;DR stands for.  Also, I wasn't trying to guilt trip you - just pointing out that it speaks poorly of you that you assume the worst of people.  I enjoy a fair amount of snark as well, but when someone is asking for enlightenment, the worst thing you can do is mock them.  

 

Fortunately, there are lots of nice people on these threads.  Not saying your not nice, just rather rude.  But that's okay, because I can go frolick in my knowledge of the 'ignore' feature.

I like how everyone against BioWare being more involved in their own forum likes to blame the users entirely as opposed to placing any sort of blame on the fact that EA will eviscerate BioWare employees for saying one wrong word.

It seems you don't understand what PR is. Many many video game developers have it. We had little to no useful developer interaction until 'The Incident' and then we got some. Its not perfect or where I would like it to be but its something.
