Yeah, yeah Bioware is terrible. Anything else to make the Witcher and CDPR better?

I didn't think the characters looked bad in DA:I, actually. I am sure The Witcher 3 might do it better, but that doesn't really matter. Its not a contest, after all. The DA:I characters looked more than good enough for me.

it seems people see homophobias and misogynies everywhere nowadays. those words appear in every discussion so many times i don't even know what they mean anymore...

This is an aspect of postmodern 21st century culture. Some words are used so excessively, often as a pejorative or a buzzword or to shame or to stifle the exchange of ideas to the point these words lose their original meaning, nuance and worth.

Words like racist, racism, misogynist, misogyny, homophobe, homophobia, transphobe, transphobia, rape, rapist, etc...

Also the thread is so typical of BSN. The OP just pointed out that DAI is lacking when it comes to side quests and offers Witcher as an example of well done side quests...Now all of a sudden, its a Witcher vs DAI thread ?

Many of the folks here are no different from rabid comic book fans...Always fighting over who is better, Marvel or DC...

Disgusted noise.

I can't wait to play. It looks like open world not make game worse as I was worried. Well Witcher 2 is better then DA:I no surprise Witcher 3 will be to.

The Witcher 3 looks great. I do, however, predict lots of bugs. The previous two games had more than their fair share, and this one is their first attempt at an open world game.

Dunno, if an unimportant minor character looks better than every single Character in  Inqusition, Bioware is doing something wrong.

I didn't mean Bioware did it "best" or anything. I just meant that the characters in DA:I look "good enough" (for me).

For me it does. Imo Bioware's problem is that they spend the limited ressources they have wrong. I would prefer less focus on these stupid romances and more on everything else. (just an example, there are a lot of areas in which they could spend their ressources better)

I do agree that a lot of areas could've had more resources

I started playing games in the 80s, so graphics isn't that important to me. My brain adjusts to the graphics of whatever game I am playing, in 30 minutes or so, anyway. I wouldn't complain if the next DA game had the same graphics as the Baldur's Gate games, to be honest.

Same to me DA:I can be made with DA:O engine. Actually for me DA:O have better ascetics then DA2. But I will not complain if game looks good.

You do know DA & The Witcher have different art styles, right?

Wow, that is pretty amazing. I have been trying to avoid spoilers, but man, I just want to find every screenshot available and just stare at it until game release.

I don't think Bioware can touch TW on graphics like this, that being said: It is a different art style. I don't expect DAI to graphically look as good as TW3. I don't mind their art style and personally, I think Cassandra is gorgeous. I know graphics are important to some people and that is perfectly fair.

Instead of The Witcher style graphics, I would have loved to see more armors, better hairstyles, more casual clothing, a better loot system and less fetch quests. I would have also liked to have seen Power and Agents actually have meaning and purpose. I like DAI, but it needs improvement and so it would be in their favor to look to other companies and take some notes. It isn't saying, "Gee, we suck and need to copy CDPR.", it's saying: "If this many fans are complaining, maybe we're missing something. Let's take a look at some other games and see if they're doing something we aren't."

EDIT: The last two paragraphs aren't directed at you. It's just general.

So you never complain to the brown and ugly visuals as long they use DAO engine. Okay then. We get off-topic by discussing visuals instead of fetch quest. Let's face it, Bioware can't win against CDPR in graphics department.

Of course and for me DA:O ascetics are best of all 3 games. DA:I second. And DA2 felt like cartoon and I like cartoons, but it did not fit DA. And DA and witcher going for realistic approach so I think it's fare game to compare graphics. But you right it would be ridicules to compare DA and witcher graphics with Telltale games.

Graphics pretty much at the end of the list "Most important parts of the game" So sorry I don't know what you mean DA:O was fine for me or I just don't paid much attention. Like I said I want game to look as best as possible. But if story and gameplay is boring. Graphics won't help. Like in DA:I levels are amazing. Go to storm coast climb on mountain it's amazing, so what? world are empty.

It's very ironic that you mock Bioware's visuals with Witcher 3's on your previous post.

I wasn't singling you out.It was a response in general.

Now DA:I went more authentic fantasy not realistic or photo realistic like the Witcher. They seem similar but would you compare kill zone graphics to say halo? No.You would see diffrence in styles.DA:I & The Witcher still have different styles as well.
