Hey,

I just played another run and found this codex entry in Jaws of Hakoon:

Geldaurans Claim

There are no gods. There is only the subject. the actor and the acted upon. Those with the will to earn dominance over others gain title not by nature but by deed.

I am Geldauran and I refuse those who would exert will uopn me. Let andruils bow crack, let junes fire grow cold. Let them build temples and lure the faithful with promises. Their pride will consume them and I, forgotten, will claim power of my own, apart from them until i strike in mastery

So the Elven God are nothing more  than powerful magical beeings with the abillity to bound the wills of other beeings.

What do you think?

I would think it depended on how you define what a god, Gods can vary a lot from different cultures, look at the Sumerian, Greek, Egyptian, Norse and Japanese deities who's gods are born and sometimes even die with varying power then you have more monotheistic eternal and uncreated gods like the God of Abraham worshiped by the various eight Abrahamic religions or Zoroastrianism's Ahura Mazda.
