Well, at least here... http://www.trustedre...rs-release-date  ...it's stated that the BioWare General Manager Aaryn Flynn said they would be skipping the last-gen consoles. Not sure how reliable info that is. Many other sites are stating the same, though. Still - and I know this may sound mean - but I'm glad they're doing so. It would do no good for ME4 to try and drag them along.

It's the tier 3 mage robe along with certain tier 3 arms that I have never gotten to drop.

Are you sure about that? i've got them from a chest in Haven at level 3 before. I didn't know what the arms were called but i was allowed to use them straight away.

ME3 killed any interest I would have had in future Mass Effect games already. DA:I has pretty much done the same thing for DA for me. BioWare is no longer the same company it once was and you either like the new games and new direction or not but it will never go back to the way it was. It's like George Lucas with the Star Wars prequels.

At this point I wouldn't be overly surprised if the next ME turned out to be a multiplayer focused game, with a "singleplayer component" that uses bot matches as its main ingredient...not unlike the ME3 side missions that used MP maps.

With all its faults, at least DAI does't leave me depressed and like I've been robbed of My money.

Agreed but I think we can trust him on the platforms. We'll find out soon enough anyways lol.

 

Software sales on PS360 have also collapsed so tying the game to ancient hardware probably isn't worth the meager sales.

this hype-inducing marketing practice is everywhere... when will they learn lying is bad? it won't work in gaming industry, you'll only get bad rep. it's as disgusting as releasing unconfirmed information; if it's the lack of technical knowledge - person responsible for this should be moved to less technical position or fired for incompetence.

Television has more offensive programming.  Both ME and the DA series have been washed with political correct soap starting from the second game onwards.

 

BTW, what did you find offensive for the straight female?... I played all three of ME and one and two of the DA series plus I'm at the Emprise du Lion in DAI.

Intersting you should say that. According to the "leaked poll", one item stood out for me. In single player mde if you want much better gear, these can only be found in Keth caves. Fine, so far. The twist is that these caves can only be done via RAIDS and to join a raid party you need to switch to MP.

 

I admit that the final game may have something quite different. However, EA only greenlights games with MP, which may have micro$transactions... .. I will wait until the game is out and sold at a discount, before I make a buy decision. DAI taught me that hard lesson.

If it's a clean break, they don't have to.  It's can be a survey ship or a multi-generation Ark ship or a colony ship with humans and selected krogans and solarians or a fleet of colony ships with all three races (humans, solarians and krogans).

Beside Jacob's "can't keep it in his pants and don't know how contraceptive works in future where you can change the DNA of unborn children" (is something that happen a lot in RL, players don't need to be forced in a situation like this, expecially without player agency to not have that kind of outcome. And I speak as someone who have seen friends destroyed by something like that), there are Javik and Vega in Citadel.

 

Javik will be in the same bed with a unromanced female Shepard in Citadel, and Vega, after all the flirts and hints during the game, have to be made drunk to bed Shepard (always in Citadel).

Is 1) offensive. Is (single) female Shepard too much ugly for Jimmy?

2) try to invert the roles, and make FemShep made drunk by Vega. Whooops!!! there are all the extreme to have a rape situation.

 

So, yeah, quite offensive for straight female characters. (oh, and just to rage more: developers forgot Thane was a romance option at all.) Or at least, I see it that way.

And bingo. Nuff said, what more can one say. Although, judging from DAI, ME4 will also probably be PG13 ... how sad, for two franchises that begun as the pioneers of incorporating sensuality and sex in gaming.

I dont care about ME4 at all, ME3 destroyed my love and dedication to the ME franchise. I would probably relive the depression i felt afterME3 if i would play ME 4 and i refuse to do that.

I still believe that ME4 will be a catastrophy, because biowares inaction as well of hiding from the ending of ME3s ending has allowed a resentment to grow and it still does like a cancer.

I wouldn't buy that game, one of the huge attractions of the series is the universe they built.

You mean Dragon Age 2, right? 2 killed my interest in Bioware games enough that I skipped ME3 until this year. DAI to me felt a lot like ME1 in that it was more a proof of concept than a fully-realized game, only ME1 had a good plot and good ending which DAI lacked.
