ME3 is one of my favorite games of all time. It might even be my favorite depending on my mood. I was able to compartmentalize the original ending from the rest of the game though.

That said DAI has me worried that the experience will contain too much filler. I'm sure ME4 will have amazing characters and a decent overall plot - I just hope an awesome 40 hour game doesn't become a tedious 120 hour game.

The only good thing about the prequels was Darth Maul.

It was. Untill the cartoons resurrected him and turned him into a whimpering little girl.

I'm not sure how alpha footage is really going to mean anything seeing as how we haven't even SEEN ME4 alpha footage.

DAI had an ambitious alpha design in a verical slice that was cut almost entirely. That's exactly like ME1: just watch the X06 videos. Here's what ME1 cut:

1) Dialogue interrupts
2) All of the plot related conversations and cutscenes
3) The entire combat gameplay which allowed you to control the whole party with a tactical camera

This isn't the first time Bioware's had to cut a vertical slice.

Yeah but they cut everything, to the point the world feels utterly empty.

At least he wasn't as useless as Boba Fett... I mean Boba Fett had a cool helmet but he was a totally worthless bounty hunter. He succeeded at nothing.

Beside Jacob's "can't keep it in his pants and don't know how contraceptive works in future where you can change the DNA of unborn children" (is something that happen a lot in RL, players don't need to be forced in a situation like this, expecially without player agency to not have that kind of outcome. And I speak as someone who have seen friends destroyed by something like that), there are Javik and Vega in Citadel.

Javik will be in the same bed with a unromanced female Shepard in Citadel, and Vega, after all the flirts and hints during the game, have to be made drunk to bed Shepard (always in Citadel).

Is 1) offensive. Is (single) female Shepard too much ugly for Jimmy?

2) try to invert the roles, and make FemShep made drunk by Vega. Whooops!!! there are all the extreme to have a rape situation.

So, yeah, quite offensive for straight female characters. (oh, and just to rage more: developers forgot Thane was a romance option at all.) Or at least, I see it that way. -_-

                                                                                        <<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>

I played both male and female Shep. Admit, I never pursued neither Jacob or Vega so those encounters were skipped.

Oh.. wait.. you mean the Citadel DLC!..... never played it....but, as I understand, it's mostly a party and "things happen at parties...".

I dont care about ME4 at all, ME3 destroyed my love and dedication to the ME franchise. I would probably relive the depression i felt afterME3 if i would play ME 4 and i refuse to do that.

I still believe that ME4 will be a catastrophy, because biowares inaction as well of hiding from the ending of ME3s ending has allowed a resentment to grow and it still does like a cancer.

                                                                                        <<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>

ME3's ending is atrocious. Agreed.

However, I highly liked the co-op play... that, for me, gave me my money's worth.

Wait a minute. He delivered Solo as requested. It's not Boba Fett's fault that Jabba lost control of the situation.

The "happened at parties" is no good excuse. Simeone who make a person drunk to go to bed with him\her is no better than those who put a drug in a drink so they can have their way. Is just a longer process. And javik doesn't even came with a deliberate choice.

Is a bad and denigrating thing. Terrible, tasteless stuff that feel came out from the head of some dude bro with no respect For women.

So if you don't like it something writer can't write it? I not liked Josephine disney romance so it shouldn't be in game, and I was forced to fight for her and risk my Inquisitor life. And Iron bull offended me he is warrior and fight half naked, and look better than me.

He did manage to track Solo, though. But yes. He should have done more.

This is what I said immediately after finishing Inquisition, but I was mostly assured there was simply no way that'd be the case. Following the (likely legitimate) leak details, a lot of people are starting to echo my sentiment.

I wish they'd stop, because I don't want to be right again.

That said, if there's a stronger balance between narrative substance and tertiary fetchiness, I'll be a lot happier. Pray mode activated.

Since is something that (Javik) happen without my character consent, yes. Is a game that should give me control over my chracter. I don't remember Josie or Iron Bull being forced in the bed of the male Inquisitors.

Oh, how would you have reacter if at the end of the witched grace your Inquistor (only the male, of course) wake up with Iron Bull, Blackwall, or Samson in their bed?

I can already hear the straight guys screams of outrage.

You would have been a minority. Just look at how was received Anders's flirt in DA2 towards male Hawke.

And you would be quite pissed if it was the fourth blow in the LI departmant in a game. (all towards only straight female Shepard.)

This would be awesome. All 3 and we need Dorian all happy in the middle this would be nice  . I like in DA2 Hawke Isable and Zevran can have threesome. Wait Samson, way would he  probably to much red lyrium.

I don't deny that. FemShep got shafted pretty brutally in ME3.

I do find it less likely than the internet makes it appear that the vast majority of my fellow straight men were raging over Anders flirting with their Hawkes in DA2. I've introduced plenty of people to the series, many of whom are straight and male, and not one of them has had anything negative to say about Anders (with regard to his flirting, anyway). It's a sad state what the net makes humanity out to be, and I own up to the follies of the few, and actively combat the sort of prejudice our world is rife with, but I don't believe for a second that the bulk of straight male players were disgusted.

What's wrong with Anders flirt? It's nice if someone likes you even if he don't have boobs. I like Anders but probably because I am pro mage. Anders in awakening was better. And in DA:I straight male have only 2 romances and only one companion I don't like both, I will live. And who made statistic that I am minority of straight man who liked Anders and Zevran flirt? And Zevran was better.

Most people were annoyed to how Anders reacted to Hawke's response, not the flirt itself. Fenris flirts with you the first time you talk to him at his home. And as you can guess, no one ever complained about his flirting. And you know why? Because we could turn him down gently without pissing him off in the process.

Sadly, from my personal experience, I have known many male players who had the same reaction of those people on the internet (people I have stopped being friend with). Male players (or at least a big chunk) take very badly these things.

If they had only one of the bad things that female players had in ME3, you would have seen a riot. Just image the anger if Miranda was going to die no matter what, instead of having the chance to have her alive in her encounter with Kai Lang. Or Tali becaming pregnant of Kal'Reegar, and telling Shep to go away.

Believe me, there would be waaaaaaaay more rage coming from male players than from female.

The inquisitor waking up with anyone, male or female, would have been bad. That is a case of a custscene completely taking control of your character to a very great extent. Not a good thing in an rpg.

But getting drunk waking up and finding out you stole gout and sell it to a giant is best quest in skyrim, Or in Witcher 2 Geralt made tattoo  And I love this type of stuff in games. And I am someone who is against alcohol. It would be funny if Male IQ wake up after party with not LI. Or Cass with Sera or, Dorian with Cullen, or Dorian with Sera

Yes, but you do make a choice to drink with the fellow in Skyrim.

You mean Dragon Age 2, right? 2 killed my interest in Bioware games enough that I skipped ME3 until this year. DAI to me felt a lot like ME1 in that it was more a proof of concept than a fully-realized game, only ME1 had a good plot and good ending which DAI lacked.

DA2 was the first BioWare game I felt was very disappointing and a much lower quality than their previous games but at the time I thought it could be a fluke. ME3 and DA:I proved that theory wrong >.<
