Who cares about them? Chances are they'll be too stupid from eating paint chips to figure it out.

You know, I'd figure you'd be more excited about this.

You could get to Luna in FOUR HOURS Recon. Your dreams could become a reality!

Hah, now thats optimism.  ^_^

It tends to get things done while pessimists say that they can't.

I'm all for more optimism in the world, so why not.

This is brand spankin new though so I'm taking their 50 year claim seriously. :P

Oh I'm taking it at face value too.

But you never know, people always get better ideas.

Alpha Centauri in 90 years sounds great, but gravity bombs? Nah.

Still, a bomb that makes everything fall into itself... come on, that's kind of cool.

Keep in mind that commercial fusion power has been 25 years away for the past 60

Oh, right, what are the G-forces involved?

Would drones be able to accelerate faster? I'm more thinking speeds that couldn't be feasible by people could be used for drones, it's also an even lighter load.

There is a lot more likelihood of finding evidence of life, past or present, on Mars than of finding some hidden alien cache on the Moon. Mars once had rivers and seas, and may have had an ocean. It also had a thicker atmosphere and a global magnetic field, and might have been warmer than it is now. A lot of the conditions for life to develop may have been there.

By life of course I'm not referring to little green men. But maybe there was primitive life like there was on Earth a billion years ago.

I get what you are saying but I did not think the chances of even finding signs microbial life on Mars were very high let alone more complex organisms, as far as I knew Mars was considered to be little more than a barren rock, saying there might be life or evidence of lfe on Mars to me is like saying there could be buried treasure under your feet, you will never know until you start digging but is there any reason to expect it to be likely?

While I am sure Mars would be more interesting than the moon (though how much more is debatable) it is also a bigger challenge to get people to and from Mars with the "getting people from Mars" part currently having no viable solutions. I just think that testing a permanent base or human presence on the moon should be the first step before even thinking about a colony on Mars.

Why do you highly doubt aliens will be how we picture them?

Because a race of blue skinned mono-gender race of sexy pansexual aliens with bodies like human models is highly unlikely...I'm not saying it wouldn't be great...just saying...don't get your hopes up.

Awesome! I'm so excited. But what I really want is confirmation from NASA that it is a warp bubble, and that lasers shot into the resonance chamber of the EMDrive are exceeding light speed. I'm excited they said they got the same result in vacuum, because the previous test showed a warp bubble, it matched the mathematical equation they had, and they registered lasers exceeding light speed.

It'll take NASA a while to announce such a feat, as right now they are no doubt scrambling doing tests, peer review, and thorough investigation, in accordance to good scientific method. But the law of conservation of energy is broken! Shattering a scientific law is HUGE, even unfathomable.

But I want NASA to say its a warp bubble and they had lasers going FTL. I want them to say it.

Speaking of NASA, maybe we should ask these guys from unaltered NASA footage for tips and tricks.

Actually, given that the universe is practically infinite the chance of that is almost 100%. Finding them might be problematic...but I'm sure there will be a lot of effort devoted to it once it becomes possible. :)

And if we find life chances are it will be stupid bacteria, not something worth the effort of killing and taking their land. Where is the fun in that?

It's boring if there's no resistance.

Aren't they also called Solar Flares?

Anyway I'm thinking the people that made that video smoke funny stuff.
