Hopefully, Bioware will confirm that they will be talking about the next Mass Effect game at E32015.  Let's assume it's confirmed, what does Bioware need to show us at E3?

I would expect a trailer, 1 to 2 minutes in length, and plot reveal with a working title.  I wouldn't expect gameplay footage yet, but would be cool.  What would you guys like to see?

It'd be smart, especially after the leak, but I thought it'd be smart last year.

Agreed.
As for the E3 content, it'll depend on The release window. Unless it'll be released in fall 2016 or later, I'd expect/hope to see more content at E3.

More concept art and that's it.

Well if they plan to release next year (early), I don't see why they can't show a gameplay teaser. However I'm going to have low expectation given that Battlefront will be more on EA's mind then Mass Effect. However I think will get a real title, I'm tired of saying "MEN." It's also been long enough at that point that they have no excuse not to have a title.

The fact that se don't know the title doesn't mean they didn't pick one.

I don't care that EA wants to push another Battlefield game with a Star Wars skin over (even though I'm a SW fan). I am more interested in ME:N. But I understand WHY they would push Battlefield: Star Wars Edition over ME

I would think they'd want to show us something beyond a fully CGI trailer with no in game elements whatsoever. I want details on things like classes, even if they just say "all the classes you know and love will be there with tweaks, with a couple more". Maybe a reveal on the true story of the game, and maybe what one of the races is. Show off the Mako if it has been polished. I expect something beyond normal teaser crap that just makes things even more vague. I DO admire the opposite approach they are taking when it comes it details. As it is the only people hyping the game up and getting expectations inflated beyond reason are fans, who can only blame themselves if MEnot4 isn't exactly what they wanted. I'm doing it now by getting my E3 expectations up too high. Having Kingdom Hearts 3, Persona 5, and Final Fantasy 15 does help though.

I doubt we'll se a CGI trailer. They didn't with DAI.
Don't know if they'd show more then that announcement trailer, but at least we'd get info on the story and setting.

I'm thinking an in-game trailer to show off the sexy new graphics engine.

At E3 we will probably get the game title, a cinematic trailer, a couple of screenshots and if we are lucky the timeframe of the game (sequel vs prequel vs midquel). I don't expect anything more.

What I pretty much expect (yeah yeah I know, don't expect anything):

-Announcement trailer/teaser

-Title

-General summary of at least initial information

What I want and think we might be able to get:

-Gameplay trailer

-Protagonist info

-Start of articles with substantial (but still 'teasing') details

2012 gave us nothing except that another game was gonna happen (I learned more than that but not much).

2013 gave us concept art with nearly no context.

2014 gave us general and vague footage and blips of info that still had nearly no context. This was a bit surprising but still seen as possible so I rolled with it.

But 2015? LOL yes we HAVE to be getting stuff now. The hype WILL happen this year and there's almost NO way that it won't happen at E3. This doesn't mean a giant reveal of tons of things (ideally it would, but whatever), but it does mean we'll at least know the friggin TITLE and SETTING and BASIC GAMEPLAY.

Reveal trailer at E3 followed by a big article in something like GameInformer.

We will most likely be seeing an in-game trailer this time, mainly for two reasons:

1. DA:I is out of the way, so that leaves BioWare's next big thing which is ME:N.

2. The game has to be in a state where a decent gameplay trailer could be put together by this point.

So yeah, I think it will happen.

I wonder if Cora is an asari or a turian...

Based on the generally positive response to Nyreen and the similarity between their biotic bubbles I could see a female turian companion, but chances are that the token powerful biotic is an asari and Cora sounds more like an asari name.

If they plan on releasing the next Mass Effect game in 2016, I would hope for something like the 2013 trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition just to give a basic glimpse into the world.  I think they are going to be very mum about the contents of the game for they don't want to have a repeat of Mass Effect 3 and I believe that we might even get less information then Dragon Age: Inquisition. Due to the posts and complaints about how Dragon Age: Inquisition isn't as good as the pre-alpha footage that was released from Gamescon (I think).

If we get anything at E3 it will depend quite heavily on when exactly the game is getting released. I think the most likely time is march 2016 but at the same time it could be earlier or later by several months.

We might get a trailer of some kind, maybe more gameplay details and a possible confirmation of the story details but I doubt it. At most what we will get is a gameplay trailer or some kind of in-engine thing and more art. And endless discussions with devs about some kind of pointless things.

I think there's been enough development time to show us something ingame. Maybe not some actual gameplay but just some real time renders or something, showing off armour customization, characters, Mako physics or some things like that.

I'd also like to know, if they're working on a trilogy remaster for current gen, would they announce it at E3 alongside ME:N as well? I don't normally watch E3, at least not the whole thing, I only stay to see what I want. Is it normal for game companies to announce more than one project at E3 at once?

ME is not my biggest concern this E3.

A new 3D Metroid is. It's time, Nintendo, it's time.

And one of the reasons why they might not show anything is because people get so unbelievably upset when something turns out not to be in the game. You can scream pre-alpha build all day long, plaster the images with 'conceptual footage' messages and what not, people will still go absolutely apeshit.

Haha yes. If all developpers only showed one project it'd be one hell of a boring E3.

I'm not sure what you're trying to imply here. I was only stating my opinion, no need to go "apeshit".

And my question about E3 was genuine. If you're not going to give me a real answer then leave it. So sorry if I'm not well versed in what happens in the gaming world.
