That was a HUGE disappointment for me in the single player game.  They said before hand that you would encounter MP charters in the sp game so I assumed it was going to be like the great success of the mp banter in the ME expansion but they just stand there and say nothing.  I was hoping we would hear convos about the MP experience.

It was certainly good, though the ME3 banter was itself in DLC.

 

 

It's such a fine line to tread, some MP content in SP that beautifully supports the world

and you can get the 'no MP' purists complaining about the content that 'pollutes' their game !

I actually like it the most that they made them real characters; as opposed to random helmets like in ME. I've said it countless times before, but I like most of them more than many major characters/companions in the DA series. All of them would have made interesting companions, actually.

 

If people get to complain the whiny Templar dude from DAO into two further installments, I can have my "tacked on" multiplayer chars.

I don't know about the DAMP characters having depth of character though. Sure they have a little backstory written about them, but they don't really show any character in those one or two lines they repeat constantly throughout the match. 

 

If they had interaction like the Hunters in Evolve I would agree with you, but right now they seem more of an annoyance to me, and as of right now I would much rather BioWare go back to the ME 3 'blank slate' model.
