If you look at the game as a whole, yes it can be disappointing that 6 months out we get one additional map, but it seems like all of a sudden, the devs are engaged in the community, changes are being made, more content is being planned. It does make me wonder what the long delay was about. But I'm not going to complain because I know when not to look a gift horse in the mouth and will stay hopeful that it just took some time for Biower to get rolling.

ok... dragons, new characters, new map, veilfire challenge, better salvaging, better RNG, new gear, BE also out.
Nope, I'm struggling to connect 'big disappointment' to those things, but it's your view I guess
...
Lets be honest, there was no chance of you ever seeing a big disappointment.
I'm glad there's finally going to be some new content, but I'll wait and see.

As was touched on in the Twitch stream, this DLC has been in build since the start of the year, so 'all of a sudden' is simply the 'ta-dah' of a long process.

In fairness that's probably true, I'd have been happy with 3 new classes, the dragons seemed unlikely ![]()
Inb4 'we had the key glitch last time' so sure, waiting and seeing is not irrational.

I too would have liked to see at least 3 new maps (for more variation). That said, I am also grateful for this release and look forward to more. #balance

I was expecting more characters TBH, but if all three have totally different mechanics like Bioware says they do, they should be awesome. Also, ZITHER! makes it all worthwhile by himself.

Well, we get one of them for free, but getting 100 cloth to unlock the other two will take awhile, for me at least.

At this point I am glad I didn't bother crafting all armors. Should have lots of cloth. *he said hopefully since he cannot remember exact #'s*

Think it was mentioned that they each have one material they take more of, so it shouldn't be 100 cloth. I'm assuming Isabela's is leather.
Also: Kinda happy I never got around to crafting the Inquisition armours that don't take up a loot slot. 134 silk and 50+ of various other non-cotton cloths ready to craft all the things.

Well, might be 50/40/40, which would still leave alot of cloth to be collected.
Personally, I don't have a cloth type of any kind with more than 7 units, as I'm still crafting armour sets. (Leaving AW for last, because Meh cloth)

Hey folks,
We'll be showing a LOT more on Tuesday on Twitch when the pack becomes available. In the meantime, I'll let you know that while it's technically "one map" since it's a single destination that we're introducing with the Ferelden Castle, it has 3 elemental variants based on the dragon you select to face off with.
Also, the new Veilfire event in the original and Destruction maps will create a very new feel to those areas.
Looking forward to everyone having a chance to check it out starting on Tuesday. As always, keep the feedback coming. We're listening. And now, we're able to talk a lot more about what we've been up to so far this year :-)

Thanks Billy. Looking forward to this Dragonslayer DLC, especially Zither and Skywatcher - especially if he has elemental attacks

Good to hear, please tell the crew maps are super SUPER important for this type of MP game . Maps , Loot , and new things to fight are like the holy trinity here and will give you more mileage (people playing) than practically anything else.

separate it from the usual gameplay and have it as a secondary mode within multiplayer.
However, two dragons should equal at least 6-8 agents ?

Saddly, last gen consoles will be holding us PC and current gen console people back as the frick potatoes they call xbox360/ps3 will not be able to handle 6-8 agents as host.

Can you clarify the material costs for the master classes? If Zither! is the only one that costs cloth it will make more sense to unlock him first with your free unlock then use your stockpiled iron and d ruffalo hides to unlock the other two
Can't quite recall the exact costs but they follow the same rules as the other ones. Mages have two cloth requirements, warriors two metal, and rogues two leather.
