Without going into all my issues with this game (compared to Origins, for instance), the tactical view seems very chaotic and it is difficult to keep track of what is going on (it would have been useful to have an optional text window displaying actions, damage etc as they happen).
One thing I don't understand is why Mind Blast doesn't work most of the time.
Is that because the enemy is out of range?
Doesn't the interface give you any warning of that when you cast?
If so why isn't there some kind of indication of area of effect on the map?
How are you supposed to know what "5 metres" in game distance?
Am I missing something?
