Then don't buy modern games, go play older more cheaper games. Lately I've been buying cheaper games for 30 dollars and under.
I give up

I'm not as excited about games coming out these days as I used to be, but there's still a lot of games to play. Even among new games there's still plenty of good stuff, you just have to dig through a lot of crap to find it at times.
Although to be honest, I think the entertainment thing I'm most excited for right now is season 2 of Star Wars Rebels and the return of Captain Rex.

Wow it's the first time you've said something other than "And we're done here" or something of that nature.
He's Anti-pirate too.
I guarantee you he's a filthy Ninja lover!

I've seen BioWareMod03 post a few different things, it's rare though and it usually has to do with sticking to the rules. However, once in a blue moon I'll see the moderators make comments like "I'll be watching this thread while I sip my tea."
I really like those sort of comments. I think one of the reasons why posts other than "And we are done here" are rare is because if a mod is present, some people might be reluctant to post and it would put a bit of a damper on the conversation, at least in theory.
I personally wish that the moderators would interact more so that we could see their personalities, I'd also like for them to have unique handles (just have their names be a different text color).

They're made by attention hogs.
No more. No less.
No easier way to get sympathy and attention on a gaming forum then saying you're gonna give it up.

If they're going to say I give up gaming they at least need to make it amusing.

The Mass Effect one is the only one that could be seen as ridiculous.
The rest? That's on your dumb ass if you bought it.

I hardly buy and have bought DLCs, as I see most of them as the devil's dung and the perfect product for numbnuts.
That list is representative of the whole.
My arse is smarter than certain boneheads, thanks for the advice on that.

On the other side of things, Oblivion also had one of the best post-release content packs in the Shivering Isles.

"Consider Leviathan, a DLC that would have explained so much about the game’s ending had it been included from the beginning."
lol, it wasn't even in the leaked script (like Javik was). It was made after they shipped and realized "oh ****, maybe we should have developed our antagonist."

No amount of development is going to make Star Child seem like a good idea =P
Unless they rewrite it so that it's not "Hey, I heard you didn't like getting killed by synthetics so we created some synthetics to kill you every 50 thousand years. You could thank us later, but you'll be dead."

It'd be funny if they trolled the fan base by starting a new trilogy (beginning with the next Mass Effect) and had the Star Child be the antagonist at the end again. Then after you beat the trilogy it'd say something like: "Check out our next upcoming Mass Effect Trilogy to discover even more about the Star Child!"

The monetization of gaming makes me too angry to enjoy any of it.
I'll stick to books, movies and shows from now on. I can't even think about getting into any new games without pausing to consider if there isn't going to be something cut out of it to be sold the day after I've completed it.
Games drop in price faster than they ever have, and the content we get from good AAA games is off the charts. What in the actual **** are you talking about?
