Shockwave and Snap Freeze work hilariously well together. Just turn your sound down and give up aiming for head shots.

Snap Freeze + Chain Overload works probably better. Shockwave doesn't hit as reliably as Overload.

It definitely works better. Paladin + GE is quite fun.
But with shockwave you never have to see an enemy the entire match.

There is nothing subjective about my eardrums bleeding because of some scrubs' need to spam a power that is both broken and annoying to get kills.

Isn't that entirely subjective though? The sound of constant cryo explosions might be displeasing to you, but others might not mind it at all. Personally, the sound of cryo explosions doesn't bother me, in fact, it's quite the opposite, I actually like it.
In combination with other powers like Overload, it's also extremely effective.

Some of us like powers... If you can't aim through the screen shake or visual obstructions, well that is your problem 
Turn your volume down man. The never ending Banshee screams are far more irritating than SF spam.
