  Ok.  Search for a guy name crashsuit.  Add him to your buddylist and play with him on Gold\Plat as much as possible.  He will carry you like the sucker he is.  Even when you don't try and play like dogshyt, he is too nice to say anything and will continue to do so.  Take advantage of this, kimosabe.  Ride him like a Mexican mule. (don't stop until all four legs are broken)  Fasttrack yourself to a max manifest!

Instead of spreading this "shamelessly leeching" thing you could have asked for some people willing to team up with you and carry. I guess, it's what Shinobu meant.

Many of us here have Origin tags in our sigs. Most of us who do, don't put them there purely for bragging (I say "most of us" because there's always the exception here on BSN ) . Add me if you want. I can help you if you'd like, but I don't do anything besides platinum games and gold solos/duos. Actually, a gold duo might be a great way for you to learn how to improve quickly. You have a lot more margin for error than a gold solo, but there's still some pressure. A good intermediate step for doing well on platinum.

Ok, basic setup for gold with nothing but basic

 

1) human soldier,, spec out of granades, AR for max shield CS for max damage

2) avenger

 

3) INCENDIARY ROUNDS (or disruptor round)

 

Playstyle:

 

1) shoot the avenger untill teh CS is ready to fire

2) CS --you get fire explosion/tech burst

3) rinse and repeat.

4) if in trouble, AR (recharge teh shield) and hide for about 1 sec....

5) stick with a teammate that use tech powers.

 

 

This is effective and useful for the team with really basic stuff.

 

USE YOUR CONSUMABLE. ALWAYS. you will not be kicked from lobbies if you do.

 

If you see xbox:piallator send a shout. I can play with you.

I play with weak manifest pugs all the time. That's all there is left. And I don't see it as them shamelessly leeching. All I see is folks keeping this game alive. So just play what you want.

 

And if you see a higher manifest player on your team and you weak pug manifest boys still fail up to Gold difficulty, it's his fault, because Sinful said so.

I play with all kinds of people, so I disagree with you: weak manifest pugs aren't all that is left. I see players with 30k+ challenge points and almost complete manifests all the time. Granted, I leave weak lobbies until I find a decent one but I see good players more often than bad ones.

As others have said you'll learn to play the game and have more fun doing it at lower levels. I doubt you're making a lot of credits per unit time by not helping your team on gold much either. If it's taking the team a long time to backpack you through gold then you're not maximizing your credits per time spent in game. The path you're on will likely eventually frustrate you and I guarantee it's frustrating your teammates now.

Are you using consumables on the Gold match though? How many times does your team fail? How many times do you go on the avoided player list for someone? Are you having fun during the match?

I am not afraid to use all 5 cobras if need be.I always revive teammates if possible.
Not sure about the avoid list,that is not something that i can track.

And i have full shield regen builds on both Geth Engineer and Volus Protector.

This is what I'm saying if the time invested is close per unit time and you're using a lot of Dpad consumables on gold matches then you're probably better off sticking with silver until you become more comfortable in game. You're already being very inefficient buying packs if you're focusing on Spectre or Premium Spectre packs because you're more likely to get common or uncommon weapons dropping there which means your paying 60 to 99K for Avenger or Scimitar upgrades. Max your common and uncommon weapons first with lower credit packs even if you think they suck just to get them maxed and take them out of the drop pool on higher money packs.

If nothing else, that tells me you should definitely stick to Silver until you get better weapons and experience of the game.

I am NOT focusing on spectre packs right now,and even then. I thought you knew what guaranteed rare (or two) means.
I get 4 packs per gun.And no,i'm not playing silver because the progression is way too slow.And i don't have the time to make 180k credits in two hours if i can make  320.

 

And by the way,not being afraid of using 5 cobras in a game doesn't mean i do it every time.I don't thing i ever did that to date.
